The price for a double room without breakfast is around 4,200 TWD on weekdays, which is quite reasonable considering its prime location in the Bund and Chenghuang Temple area, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the Bund. The service at Yu Garden is warm and welcoming, with very polite and impressive staff.

Great view of the Bund from Blossom House. August is very hot and crowded due to the summer holidays but shopping is great if you avoid the tourist areas. The hotel service and rooms are amazing and super near to Yu Yuan garden but the roads tend to be badly jammed in the evenings. Took more than an hour to get there from the airport. But walkable to the Bund and Nanjing street if you want to avoid the traffic .

Day 3: People’s Square, Shanghai Museum, shopping at Tianzifang. 🏨 Blossom House Shanghai On The Bund – central location, clean & comfy. 🍜 Try Xiaolongbao, sesame balls, Din Tai Fung dim sum. 📌 Use Alipay/WeChat Pay, visit sights early to avoid crowds.

Stayed for a few nights at the artistically styled Hua Jiantang · Yuyuan and was very happy. Initially, I didn’t choose another option despite the slightly higher price. Considering its quality and location, about 600 RMB per night per person is not expensive. We were three people and stayed in a superior family room. The room was very large, about 45 square meters. Although there was no view outside the window, it still felt very comfortable. The room had a long sofa, a combination cabinet, giving a homey feeling. On the wall behind the bed, there was a floral mural, very artistic and beautiful. The bathroom had a dry and wet separation. The best part was the large bathroom with a full-length mirror. Outside the bathroom, there was a vanity table with lights and a place to hang clothes. Closing the bedroom door made it like a huge walk-in closet, which girls would love. The bathroom also had a thermostatic towel rack, giving a very high-end feeling 😊😊 The hotel is near the Bund, just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the Bund and Yuyuan shopping district. Nearby is the entrance to Metro Lines 10 and 14, making transportation very convenient. Because we stayed here, I had the chance to visit the Bund and Yuyuan shopping district both morning and evening, and when tired from walking on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, I could come back to rest and then go out for dinner at night. The hotel lobby and restaurant are on the 7th floor with many large windows, providing excellent lighting. From the windows, you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower in the distance. The rooftop garden on the 11th floor offers views of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Lujiazui skyscrapers. If you don’t want to go out, you can also take photos here. As for the hotel service, all staff were very attentive. Not only the front desk staff but also the cleaning ladies and the doorman were very kind and polite. Additionally, there are free guided tours and DIY activities, giving a bit of a Taiwanese resort hotel vibe. When traveling with family, location and cleanliness are important factors, and in that sense, Blossom House Shanghai Hotel was really satisfying. It was very close to Shanghai's main tourist attractions, so it was convenient to get around, and since it was not established for long, the interior of the hotel was clean, so I was able to stay comfortably. My mom and I booked a superior family room, and unlike other hotels, it was great for the family to sit together and enjoy a late-night meal thanks to the spacious table and chairs. In fact, it's hard to find more than two chairs in a hotel, but this room was spacious enough for more than six people to sit together! And the smart toilet system was really impressive! When you open the bathroom door, the bidet automatically opens, and when you're done, the bidet automatically closes...! This kind of service is hard to find even in 5-star hotels, so it was really new and pleasant. The breakfast was also delicious and varied, so I really enjoyed it all three days. Also, the minibar was free, so I could use it freely without worrying about additional charges, and on the first day, they even prepared welcome fruit on the table, which was really impressive. Such meticulous service is rare in China! I was particularly impressed by the late-night food delivery service. The robot delivered it to my room without having to meet the delivery person. The newly opened Huajiantang in Shanghai belongs to Huazhu. It is located in a building next to Yu Garden. There are exclusive parking spaces in the underground parking lot, which are free and quite a lot. The lobby is on the seventh floor. We were able to check in before 12 o'clock during the New Year's Day holiday. The service is very enthusiastic. We upgraded from a family room to a terrace family room. We got a free upgrade after applying for a Huazhu Gold Card, and there is also a daily necessities package exclusively for children. The room is very large, with an extra-large bathtub, two sinks, a separate small toilet, and a smart toilet. The air conditioner is very quiet and powerful, and you can't hear the sound of the wind at all. Although the view outside the window is average, the downstairs is a carefully designed garden view room with a terrace extending out, which is very good for sunbathing. Had a pleasant stay at Blossom House on the Bund. Hotel located near Yu Garden (about 5 mins walk) & about 10 mins walk to the start of the bund. Quiet yet has eateries, hop on hop off buses, subway all within walking distance. Nanjing pedestrian street is about 1km walking distance. Hotel is modern, clean, high tech & provides good service. Check-in was fast & they allowed us to check in before 12 noon. As we had a midnight flight they extended our check out time too. Breakfast is really good. We tried the sweet dessert one night & it was best dessert I had as it’s comforting & not overly sweet.
