The room area starting at 60-70 square meters is worth mentioning, which is comparable to many hotel suites and is fully equipped. Especially in Shanghai, a sense of space is the greatest luxury! Dyson hair dryers and coffee machines are standard equipment. Dinner was scheduled at Jiafu No. 1, which has won the Black Pearl Diamond Award. I've visited Shanghai many times, but this was my first stay in the North Bund. To my surprise, this area is incredibly photogenic! Many classic spots for shooting the "Three Giants" skyline are actually located here. Spot 1: Zhapu Road Bridge (Top of Figure 2, Figure 3, Bottom of Figure 4) This is undoubtedly the most iconic shooting location in the North Bund. Standing on the bridge offers an open view: the nearby Waibaidu Bridge and the distant Three Giants create perfect layers. Highly recommended for sunrise photography – the calm morning waters reflect stunning mirror images. Spot 2: Bellagio Shanghai The Bellagio sits right beside Zhapu Road Bridge. From the windows of their river-view rooms, you can capture the curved Suzhou Creek perfectly, with an even higher and broader perspective than from the bridge (Figure 1, Bottom of Figure 2). Another hidden gem is the sixth-floor LAGO restaurant – window-side tables combine gourmet dining with breathtaking views, making it the ultimate romantic dinner choice (Figure 5). Beyond landscapes, Bellagio is a portrait paradise. Its black-and-gold Art Deco interiors blend Italian elegance with Shanghai's modernity. Photogenic spots abound: the metal lion at the entrance, the grand staircase and crystal chandelier in the lobby, and the four-story-high LED banquet hall – all viral-worthy portrait backdrops (Figures 8-10). Spot 3: Waibaidu Bridge (Figure 6) The bridge looks most striking from its sides, where its steel structure shines under night lights. While it offers unobstructed views of the Three Giants, their flat alignment from this angle isn't particularly photogenic in my opinion. Spot 4: North Bund Cruise Terminal (Figure 7) Walking north from Waibaidu Bridge along the riverbank to the cruise terminal improves the Three Giants' composition. With the wide Huangpu River (often dotted with passing boats) in the foreground and the Bund's historic buildings in the background, the scenes become richly layered. My two-day stay at Bellagio Shanghai was a photographer's dream – having iconic spots just steps away and being able to shoot masterpieces from bed!
