For this white cliff, I flew to England
After I can continue to travel around the world, I told myself that I must check off the places I most want to visit on my travel list without leaving any regrets☝🏻
.
"The White Cliffs of England" can be said to be the place I am most looking forward to during my entire trip to England~
In fact, it really did not disappoint us. When we arrived at the Seven Sisters Rock, we saw a magnificent sunset, which dyed the sea surface golden. When the wind blew, our thoughts wandered...
.
I have never seen such a spectacular coastline anywhere else in the world. It stretches for several kilometers and has white cliffs rising from the ground. It is majestic and domineering. When the weather is clear, you can even see this white cliff on the coast of France.
.
No wonder the hero and heroine in the movie "Atonement" dream of living a happy life in this place with beautiful scenery and far away from human habitation.
Jay Chou also chose this location for the MV of "What's Up".
Stepping deeply and shallowly on the open chalk grassland, I envy the British for having such a good place for leisure hiking!
.
It may be well-known to Chinese people because of a music video or a movie, but in the long history, many stories have really happened on the White Cliffs in the southernmost part of England, such as the Norman Conquest, the Battle of Westings, etc.
.
As a symbol of the British South Coast, the White Cliffs inspired thousands of soldiers during World War II. Seeing the South Coast is equivalent to seeing your hometown😭
.
And more than ten centuries ago, William I once looked at England from afar and decided to conquer it.

🤍Strategy
There are three beautiful spots in the White Cliffs: the White Cliffs of Dover, the Seven Sisters Rock (Beach Point), and the Jurassic Coast (Old Harry Rock). We rented a car from London and drove there, but you can also take a train.
.
🤍Self-driving
D1: Visit the White Cliffs of Dover and the Seven Sisters, pass by Westings, and live in Eastbourne;
D2: Lewis Town and the Jurassic Coast (Old Harry's Rock), staying in Bournemouth; D3: Drive back to London by yourself, so that you can visit all three beautiful spots!
