Day 2 in Paris! This day was packed with movement! Starting in the morning, I headed to Montmartre and enjoyed a morning coffee at Amélie's café, followed by a leisurely stroll around Montmartre 🚶♀️. Luckily, I arrived early at Amélie's café, so it wasn’t crowded, and I managed to snag a terrace seat—what a treat! ✨✨ After that, I returned near the hotel to visit the Arc de Triomphe 👀. The day continued with visits to the Opera House, the Louvre Museum, and Notre-Dame Cathedral, making it a full-on sightseeing day. I was so busy exploring that I realized I only had two meals all day—oops! Still, it was an incredibly moving day, seeing in person all the things I had only seen in photos or textbooks before 💭💭.

1) Sacré Couer Roman Catholic church and minor basilica in Paris, France, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. From it’s dome, the basalica overlooks the entire city of Paris and it’s suburbs. (Free entrance) 2) Notre Dame (means Our Lady) is the seat of archbishop of Paris. In 2019, part of it was destroyed and damaged due to a fire that broke out in the roof space of Notre-Dame de Paris. It’s expected to reopen in December 2024. 3) Saint Chapelle It was a royal chapel in a Gothic Style which now operated as a museum. Everything on the wall was looking spectacular, even better than what I could captured on my video/ picture. (Entrance fee- 11.50€)

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris known as Sacré-Cœur is a historic white domed church in Paris. The interior is really nice with mosaics and stained-glass windows. The place also offers a great view of Paris. It can get really busy with tourists so bring your patience here. However, it is worth your time as it is a beautiful church and as a bonus, you get a nice view of Paris. Great picture opportunities here as well. They also have guided tour if you want but it may not be worth it since you get all the needed information about this place online. Sacre Coeur Basilica This humongous church in the middle of Paris Downtown is a sight to behold and the entrance is FREE! Went there on a chilly autumn day so dress the part. As you approach the platforms towards the church doors you’ll be amazed by a 360 degree view of Paris in all its glory. Around are are endless rows of cafes and kiosks selling all sorts of treats and souvenir items but beware of pickpockets and take extra caution of your wallet and belongings! The Sacre-Coeur is one of the must-see attractions in Paris. This Roman-Byzantine style church is unique in Paris. In addition to the beautiful view overlooking Paris from the high hill, the surrounding area is where Picasso and Van Gogh have lived, full of artist style! We walked along the mountain road next to the Sacre-Coeur cable car to find the grocery store "AU MARCHÉ DE LA BUTTE" run by the cool Ali in the movie "Amelie Rabbit". This section of the residential area down to the carousel and the Wall of Love in the Abbesses subway station area is also Piaoer's favorite place in Montmartre.
