If you're looking for a place to visit at the end of the rainy season to relax, rejuvenate, and breathe in fresh air, I highly recommend 'Pa Pong Piang Rice Terraces.' Located in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province. The rice terraces are layered step by step, with a backdrop of large mountains contrasting against the blue sky. In the early morning, the cool air and mist covering the mountain peaks create an indescribable beauty. To get here, take the same route as to Doi Inthanon. Once you reach the second checkpoint, turn left to enter Mae Chaem District. Along the way, you'll experience a natural route surrounded by trees of various sizes. Drive straight and turn right at the Mae Pan Waterfall junction. Continue driving for a bit, and you'll see signs guiding you to Pa Pong Piang. Some parts of the road are quite steep and narrow, so drive carefully. Pa Pong Piang offers numerous accommodations, mostly homestays.
