[2025 Singapore Restaurant] Travel Guide for Baker and Cook (Updated Feb)

Baker and Cook is an artisan bakery and cafe that sells baked goods such as bread, cakes and oven baked pizzas. They have branches in different parts of Singapore, and I went to the one located in Serangoon Gardens as it was the most convenient outlet for me to get to. It is fascinating to see the traditional brick oven being used to bake the pizzas, which is not as common nowadays. They have a wide range of bread such as sourdough, and desserts such as tarts, donuts and cakes. Apart from being a bakery, they have indoor and outdoor seating areas to sit down and relax over food and drinks. The outdoor seats are especially useful for those who came with their pets. However, as I was not craving for a pizza, I had the caramel brownie and hazelnut latte for tea. The caramel brownie was compact with a layer of thick caramel sauce, while the hazelnut latte was aromatic. As usual, the items are standard cafe prices. However, the goods and services charge is included in the prices and there is no service charge. #meetsingapore

Bakers and cook have always been our to Ho cafe when we are craving for a nice coffee, we have tried many different branches of Baker and Cook and this is our first visit to the Buona Vista branch! I love how bright and spacious is this place, I feel so welcomed the moment when I stepped in here. This place is so spacious that they divided it into 2 section, there's the plank section which sell sourdough pizza at the end of the restaurant. We ordered 2 sets of avacado salmon with poarched egg, it was so delicious as usual! It’s such a generous plate of hearty meal, the smoked salmon was delicious and we love their bread!! It was nicely toasted, maybe some people might find it too hard, but it is just right for us. We also ordered a burrata pizza which was delicious as well! The sourdough pizza was really good, we especially loved the crust! :) However it was definitely too much food for us 😅 but we still enjoyed it very much!

Baker and cook at Chip Bee garden is located around Holland neighbourhood area, it has outdoor seating as well if you are bringing your pets along. I came here quite often, my go to coffee is their latte, I love how they always serve with a small piece of brownie/ chocolate cookie. I also love how chill and quiet is this place, you can do your work or read a book here. We ordered a bagel with egg and smoked salmon, it was nice, I especially love the chewy bagel! There’s are some dips/ jam on the table that you can take for free. I love the peanut butter for bagel, I literally ate half my bagel with the peanut butter. We also ordered a salmon egg Benedict , they are very generous with the salmon! Love the sourdough bread as well. Overall it’s a nice place to have your morning breakfast here :)
