Finally, it's my turn to experience Shenzhen's "Seaside Utopia"—so refreshing
Shenzhen's free tide-pooling hotspot, just a 1-hour drive from Shenzhen, offers stunning mountain and sea views. Free parking is available, but be sure not to park on the roadside, or you'll definitely get a ticket. Near the campsite, there are more white clams; at the Wetland Park area, you can dig for sand clams and crabs; in the middle section, you can find oysters and some green mussels.

📝Tips to Note
Self-driving is recommended. If taking public transport, you can take bus M438 to Baishawan Jiangwushan Road Intersection. After the tide recedes, the beach has small crabs, clams, and shells, but be sure not to go barefoot as the mudflats have broken shells that can easily cut you. Friends can search for "Tide Spirit" on the WeChat mini-program to check tide schedules. Generally, the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month are spring tides, and the two hours before low tide are best for tide pooling. Remember to wear sunscreen as UV rays are strong. For cycling enthusiasts, you can ride along the Baishawan Park Wanli Greenway all the way to Xiaogui Pier, about 8 kilometers one way. The creative camp has a restaurant, supermarket, and restrooms. The camping area is quite large, and nearby Baishawan also allows camping, so you can explore to find your ideal camping spot.
