Beautiful DaNang, Hoi An
If you’re dreaming of a trip that blends culture, beach vibes, great food, and stunning scenery, then Hoi An and Da Nang should be at the top of your list. I recently spent a week exploring both cities, and here’s my honest take.
Hoi An – A Step Back in Time
The moment I arrived in Hoi An, I felt like I’d stepped into a postcard. The Ancient Town, with its lantern-lit streets, yellow-washed colonial buildings, and charming riverside cafes, is almost too pretty to be real.
Da Nang – A Modern Beachside Escape
Da Nang is like the cool, modern cousin to Hoi An’s old-world charm. It’s clean, vibrant, and much more spacious – with some of Vietnam’s best beaches just minutes from the city center.
Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge: Yes, the famous “Hands Bridge.” It’s touristy but undeniably impressive. Go early to avoid crowds.
Hoi An and Da Nang make for a perfect pairing. Spend a few days soaking in the history and romance of Hoi An, then head to Da Nang for beachside relaxation and city comforts. Together, they offer a balanced experience of Vietnam’s past and present.
