The surrounding environment is quiet and distant. The architectural design outside the hall is simple and atmospheric, integrating Tang Dynasty architectural elements with modern style. As soon as you enter the hall, a strong historical atmosphere greets you. The exhibition hall presents the square system of the Tang Dynasty Chang'an City through various means such as cultural relics, pictures, and multimedia displays. As one of the important urban planning features of the Tang Dynasty, the square system demonstrated the order and prosperity of society at that time. Content·Exhibition Content Entering the exhibition hall, the first thing that catches the eye is a huge panoramic sand table of the Tang Chang'an City. The sand table reproduces the grand scene of Chang'an City in a miniature form, with a clear north-south central axis, and the palace city, imperial city, east and west markets, and squares are arranged neatly. Among them, Anren Square, as an ordinary square, appears low-key and unique on the sand table. Next, I visited the site protection area, where part of the real site excavation site is displayed through glass floors. I was traveling to Xi'an and couldn't get a ticket to the Shaanxi History Museum, but a kind taxi driver recommended this underrated museum to me: Anrenfang. It is located in the first row east of Zhuque Street in Tang Chang'an City, south of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, and covers an area of about 6,100 square meters. The Anrenfang Site Exhibition Hall is centered around the Tang Dynasty Anrenfang Residence Site, which was discovered through archaeological excavations. It presents the life of the people of Tang Chang'an City from multiple dimensions, including their homes, clothing, and music. Unlike the Shaanxi History Museum, which is heavy and overwhelming, it is full of more humanistic design and artistic installations. It is not only photogenic, but also has a stronger sense of space and artistic appreciation. It is suitable for literary and artistic youth, and you can wear Hanfu to take photos without being crowded. It is really a quiet and beautiful place. Ever since coming to Xi'an, it has been raining continuously, and our original plans had to change, we switched to indoor activities on short notice. The landlord recommended the Anrenfang Site Museum, which wasn't in our initial plan, but if a local recommends it, it must be good, right? So we decided to go, and it exceeded our expectations! I thought it would just be a popular spot for social media check-ins, but it's actually really nice to walk around. The museum built on the site has several areas with glass floors, allowing you to see the ancient relics. Above the relics, you can learn about Tang Dynasty culture and life, as if traveling through time , it feels quite magical. The museum's environment is also very photogenic, with many spots perfect for taking pictures, attracting many young ladies with their photographers. The elders in the family also really liked it, saying it was worth the visit—and it's free! Up here is the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, the setting is absolutely stunning!
