Tired of the same old trips? We recommend a book stay with a book!
If you're tired of the same old travel itineraries, restaurants, and cafes,
I recommend a book stay this fall!
I recently experienced a special accommodation experience with books at Arka Books Book Stay in Pyeongtaek.
A book stay is a space where you can enjoy both lodging and reading.
It's a reading-oriented stay where you can spend time reading books curated by the host or books you brought yourself.
Arka Books Book Stay operates in conjunction with a book café,
so even after the café closes,
you can freely enjoy the space and books.
The book café also has a shower and sofa bed.
The separate accommodation is a duplex, with beds and a sleeping area on the second floor,
and a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and even a swimming pool on the first floor.
The pool is especially large, accommodating four adults, making it a great place to enjoy the water. 🏊♀️
The accommodation also features a curated selection of books by the owner,
which allowed me to broaden my reading horizons by encountering books I wouldn't normally read. Even if you're not a bookworm, there are plenty of easy-to-read books, including children's books, so you won't feel overwhelmed. 📖📚
If you're looking for a healing trip that fills your heart,
and a unique accommodation experience, we recommend Bookstay!

📌Tired of the Same Old Trips? Try a Bookstay for a Unique Travel Experience!
If you’re bored of the usual café and food tours,
This fall, I highly recommend a bookstay trip.
I recently stayed for 2 days at Arca Books Bookstay in Pyeongtaek,
and it was a perfect escape combining reading and relaxation.
A bookstay is a place where you can enjoy accommodation and books together.
Guests can read books curated by the host or bring their own,
making it a peaceful, immersive experience.
At Arca Books, the bookstay is connected to a book café,
so even after café hours, guests can enjoy reading freely.
Inside the book café, there are shower facilities and sofa beds,
perfect for a short rest or relaxing.
The accommodation itself is a duplex:
• 2nd floor: beds and sleeping area
• 1st floor: living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a swimming pool
The pool is spacious enough for four adults, perfect for leisurely water fun.
The host also provides a curated selection of books in the accommodation,
which allowed me to explore titles I wouldn’t normally read.
Even if you’re not a big reader, there are fairy tales and easy-to-read books available, so anyone can enjoy.
This trip was a healing and fulfilling experience.
For a fall getaway with a twist, I highly recommend trying a bookstay!
