When it comes to Siem Reap, besides the dreamy Angkor Wat, one shouldn't miss this green oasis—the Garden Palace Resort & Spa Siem Reap. Located in Phum Krous Sangkat Svay Dangkum, the resort boasts an extremely convenient location. Just a 5-minute drive from Siem Reap International Airport and about 15 minutes to many of Angkor Wat's ancient ruins, with museums roughly 20 minutes away, making it effortless to explore this historic land. My first impression of the resort was that it resembled a magnificent palace! From the refreshing entrance to the grand lobby, and the Khmer-style decor, every detail exudes a royal ambiance. 🌿🎐 The spacious rooms feature traditional Khmer designs, with windows opening to sweeping views of the gardens and pool. Enjoying the early mornings or dusky evenings on the balcony was simply magical. Upon arrival, the warm welcome from the staff immediately eased our travel fatigue, making us feel right at home. Notably, the hotel offers complimentary round-trip airport transfers—such a thoughtful touch! 🚗💼 The rooms were like an adventure—each one seemed to have its own personality, with beds so soft and inviting that you'd want to close your eyes the moment you got near. The amenities were also well-equipped, including bottled water, shaving kits, and even free Wi-Fi—thoughtful beyond words. The stylish room design blended modern Khmer aesthetics, with views of the garden on one side and the pool on the other. Waking up to these scenes every day made me feel like I was living in a leisurely paradise. The resort isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a vibrant community full of fun. We tried the in-house Amara Restaurant, and the food was stunning! Nearby, there were plenty of other recommended dining spots, like Temple Skylounge and WILD Restaurant, offering creative cuisine. Imagine sitting in one of these restaurants after witnessing the vast sunrise at Angkor Wat, savoring delicious local dishes—doesn’t that sound perfect? Of course, there was one minor drawback: the resort is slightly farther from the city center, which provided a peaceful retreat but made trips downtown a bit of a journey. Fortunately, they offer a free daily shuttle bus, or you can opt for a tuk-tuk ride—the drivers were super friendly and enthusiastic, turning every trip into a fun adventure! 🚜🎶 All in all, Garden Palace Resort & Spa Siem Reap isn’t just a fantastic place to stay—it’s a unique haven of relaxation in my heart. Sunset café restaurant is located at Siem Reap province, inside Angkor Palace Resort and Spa (below the main lobby). Chefs there are Cambodian. They offer Khmer, Asian and Western cuisine. This restaurant serve all kind of meal 🍽️ including breakfast , lunch and dinner . There are varieties of seats available both indoor and outdoor. The view is nice👍🏻. The restaurant is surrounded by green environment, big swimming pool, trickling sounds of the waterfall, little bridges, colorful fishes… Their service is good. This resort is really attractive with modern and wooden room decoration. The surrounding area is green. The service is good. Stuff are polite and perform their work actively. One interesting thing about this resort is that: they have welcome souvenir and drinks during my check in. I really appreciate this cool idea. There are also welcome fruits in the rooms. There are two big swimming pools that look really attractive and clean. Guests seem to enjoy the pools very much. The rooms are big, WC are also big. There enough hotel staffs provided.
