It is a huge playground in Jakarta's Port, Ancol - suits for children and adults. If you are adult, no worry, it is never boring here. You can play Kora Kora Ship, Roller Coaster, and Torpedo which is high adrenaline and make sure your heart beat faster. for children lots of fun in this place, as they can see huge playground. The best time to come here is after 15pm, because the sun is not too hot anymore, good place for jogging as the track is quite good for exercising. After you play around in Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) Ancol, your exit is going through the Ancol Bay. Just park your car and enjoy the evening breeze of wind, it feels so calm and peace. The Pier restaurant is on the corner left, while Bandar Jakarta seafood restaurant is on corner right side. Huge lakes in the middle, connect with the sea. Well Ancol is actually a bay. Beautiful in evening. At 16-18pm you can see the beautufil sky suddenly turn to darkness, as it welcomes night coming in special way. The pier is beautiful and silent, the waiter is kind, attentive and humoris. We feel welcomed and happy to be there, and will be back in future!🥰 They serve italian pizza, unfortunately when we arrive, the pizza stock is finished so we taste other foods like spaghetti carbonara, chicken schitzel etc. The Pier also serve cocktails, mocktails and wines. The Dufan project was launched in the early 1980s, at which time Ancol was still under the leadership of Mr. Handogo Soekarno, who served as head of the Ancol Dreamland Park promotion division. At that time, Handogo gave a mandate to Benny Benhardi to create illustrations using Birds Eye View. This work was carried out at the Balai Samudra Architecture office under the direction of Mr. Sutisna and also senior architect Budi Priambodo and several draftsmen. You have to pay to get into this area . Once in the area there are many amusement places you can go to but you have to pay another entry to get into them. Dufan is my favourite place. Its an amusement park filled with many rides suitable for young kids to adults. Bring extra clothing cos you'll get wet in some rides. The whole are are also well maintained. The public toilet it's clean! And public facility also sponsored by the management, like the carpet to sit by the beach's pedestarian. They provided a free bus to go around the north side and the south side but during public holiday, the bus is jam packed and people tried to squeeze in, better walk although it is tiring. Most favorite amusement park in Jakarta. They offer annual pass ticket, if you have plan to visit here more than one in a year, it’s recommended to buy the annual pass ticket. Make sure to come early if you want to buy fast track access due to limited only for 300 ticket each day. You can also enjoy Dufan at night every 24 and 25 each month.
