#resortstyle Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao is a fairly new and young property opened in Phuket, Thailand. Most travellers, especially the more upscale ones, would be familiar with the Anantara brand of hotels and hospitality. During my most recent trip to Phuket, I checked out this brand new property just beside the older Anantara Mai Khao Villas. It features a 7-storey building of 1 and 2 bedroom suites, with rooms on the ground floor featuring their own private pool. The Vacation Club also boasts lots of 1 and 2 bedroom private pool villas. Do note that there is only 1 adult and 1 kids' pool, and only 1 restaurant (Taurus) as well. Overall, the stay was fantastic. We were buggied around almost everywhere, and the condition of the room was tip-top. I stayed in the 2-bedroom suite (1 King and 2 Single) on the 2nd floor with a large balcony overlooking the pool and resort. The room came with 2 bathrooms, a deep soaking tub, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine and dryer! If you do stay there, I recommend checking out the many activities the resort offers. There are fitness, yoga, and boxing classes, obstacle courses over the swimming pool, various courts to play different sports, and even a kids' club. For me, the breakfast was the most glorious. Getting There - by airport taxi cost around 59baht Attractions - a lots of activity everyday and especially for kids,free class and foods by schedule. Hotels - spectacular,amazing and very good service. Food & Restaurants - spacious with a lots of variety.for muslim,you may request for halal food and they will prepare with halal ingredients. Thai tapas? I had the exact same thought. I've never imagined or pictured those 2 words together! But what a pleasant surprise it was when I decided to have dinner at Taurus, the restaurant at Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao, Phuket, Thailand. This restaurant boasts an extensive menu, featuring lots of unique and traditional Thai tapas whipped up by enthusiastic chefs who are GREAT at their profession! I recommend the prawn Tom Yum Goong, the Crab Meat Omelette (Kai Jaew), and of course the Seafood & Shrimp Fried Rice. Every single dish I tried was perfect... rice was fluffy, tom yum was flavorful without being heavy, and the crab meat was generously provided and extremely fresh. It is located in the northwest of Phuket, only a 15-minute drive from Phuket International Airport🚕, and close to the liveliest beach in southern Phuket🏖. The hotel can arrange 🛬 round trip shuttle 🛫, to enjoy to enjoy back, of course, the best arrangement! 👍🏻👍🏻 The room type we booked was originally One Bedroom Pool Villa one bedroom pool villa, for some reason later upgraded to our Two Bedroom Pool Villa two bedroom pool villa for free🤩!! Super large! Maybe know we are on a honey moon trip! 💝 Although two people can't use both rooms, there is 🌟 "upgrade" enjoyment 😎 So happy! 😆 Have a dedicated person to introduce everything in your villa in detail. You can sit by the pool and eat pizza🍕 and play table tennis outdoors! If the time is right, you can also enjoy a swim and watch a movie at the same time! It's really pleasant! There is also a shopping mall next to it, as well as restaurants, bar options. You can call a golf cart to get in and out. There is a dedicated pick-up and drop-off. It also delivers you to the sister hotel’s pool and beach. There is also a special bus that takes you to the city center regularly. There is also an on-site department that can arrange local tours.
