I was so lucky to visit this precious mosque where everything here is so peaceful and serene. The most interesting about Masjid Nabawi is their largest umbrellas that situated around the mosque. These umbrella will open and close at certain time of the day. 🏖️Ambiance/Facilities: The mosque were huge and could allocate thousands people at one time. The surrounding were clean and so there were many water closet available around the mosque. Here also located the burial-chamber of prophet Muhammad. 💡Tips: To watch the big umbrellas open: around 6am in the morning. When in Rome, do as the Romans do and respect the culture of the other country. ②The sunshade umbrellas were made by a company in Osaka! 🇯🇵 Apparently, they were made by a company called Taiyo Kogyo in Osaka upon receiving an order. As the evening approaches, the umbrellas gradually close. I'm proud that Japanese craftsmanship is helping so many Muslims! But non-Muslims can't enter the Prophet's Mosque (the security is strict, and you'll be kicked out immediately if you're seen as an East Asian person.), so let's look at it from the outside! *All photos were taken from outside the gate. ③The hotel is tourist-friendly. The people at both the Taiba Hotel where we stayed and the Hilton Hotel where we had lunch were very kind to us. 😌🫶 Is it because there aren't many tourists yet? During my trip to Medina last April, I visited the Prophet's Mosque (المسجد النبوي) at night — and it was a peaceful and memorable experience. The entire area was calm, filled with people praying or just sitting quietly, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The lights around the mosque gave everything a warm glow, and the cool spring breeze made walking around really pleasant. Even though it’s one of the most important sites in Islam, it didn’t feel overly crowded or noisy. Everything was well-organized and respectful. 🌟🙏❤️ It’s definitely a must if you’re in Medina, especially at night. The experience is very different from the daytime — more tranquil, more reflective. #medinatrips Fact: No ticket or reservation is needed to visit Masjid. It's my honor that I am writing a few words about this place. I am not in any place or position to say anything about this holy place. It’s the second holiet and greatest place of worship for Muslim around the world and a very sacred place in the heart of every Muslim. Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) spent his life here after Hijrah from Mecca. He is the Rasool of Allah (Nabi) ( highest place for any (paigamber) messenger of Allah (God). The Masjid Nabawi is after his title, and meaning is that,”This Masjid name Is Prophet Mohammed Mustufa Mosque”. Largest of any kind of any holy place around the world for any religion of the world, only after the Mecca’s Holy Kabbah. The grandest size of this mosque and the architecture beauty is beyond any imagination and comprehension unless someone sees themselves. Originally, it was around 1200 m2-built by the prophet himself-now just its main building can accommodate more than 1.8 million people, under more than 600,000 m2 , fully air conditioned. The Rawdah of prophet Muhammad is also here in the area next to this masjid, and this makes this masjid on a very different level and sacred.

There are only a few months in a year that are suitable for visiting Saudi Arabia. The holy city of Medina is open to non-Muslims for visits. To show respect, I still covered my head, but in reality, everyone is very devout and focused on worship, so no one paid any attention to me. If you don't drive yourself, you can take the high-speed train, which takes about three and a half hours. It's necessary to book round-trip tickets in advance, as many people go for worship. After getting off at the high-speed train station, you can take an Uber to the mosque. From the drop-off point to the mosque entrance, there are restaurants and cafes along the way. Non-Muslims can only view the mosque from the outside and are not allowed to enter. The exterior of the mosque is also divided into male and female areas. The umbrellas in my photos automatically open when the sun comes out and close at sunset.
