Georgeous Masjid Nabawi in Medina
Al-Masjid an-Nabawī (Mosque of the Prophet), known in English as the "Prophet's Mosque", is the second mosque built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina. The mosque is located at the heart of Medina, and is a major site of pilgrimage that falls under the purview of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
All the interior and exterior design of the Mosque was great. Especially those big shading umbrellas ✨

The Magnificent Nabawi Mosque ✨
Visited the magnificent Nabawi Mosque in Medina city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is one of the holy places for Muslim people all over the world. Total area of the Mosque is 165,000 m2 with more than 90 doors. It is able to accommodate Muslim worshipers of up to around 535,000 people.
Every single corner of this Mosque is amazing and beautiful. Some hotels nearby that you can choose while visiting Medina such as; Hilton Madinah, Anwar Al-Madinah Movenpick, Ar-Rawda Royal Inn, etc. There are museums, markets, convenience store, and some historical spots as well around the Mosque.

Saudi | First Impressions of Medina—As I drove into Medina
🚗 Medina, also known as Madinah or Medinah, formerly known as Yathrib or Yasrib, is located on an open plain in the Sarat mountain range in the western part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at 39.36°E, 24.28°N. Surrounded by mountains, it sits at an altitude of 620 meters and is considered a highland plateau city. Medina, along with Mecca and Jerusalem, is revered as one of the three holy sites of Islam and is the second holiest city in Islam.
🚗 Having the impression that Medina, as the second holiest site, is also very sacred, I specifically took a taxi from Yanbu to have a look. Perhaps because I had always been in coastal cities and hadn't seen much of the mountains, suddenly arriving in Medina felt quite nice, with the entire city surrounded by mountain views. Medina is well-planned, with an inner ring and an outer ring; inside the inner ring are the Prophet's Mosque and various hotels, while the outer ring is a highway that encircles the city. When I first entered Medina, I even had the illusion of arriving in the American West.
🚗 I saw buses, but there are very few routes. If you're driving, make sure to watch for the highway exits, otherwise, you'll have to take a long detour (this is a common issue with Saudi highways). Personally, I find the Saudi transportation system to be very unfriendly to pedestrians. Traffic around the Prophet's Mosque is quite chaotic, so be careful.

Most beautiful blues at Nabawi Mosque!
Nabawi Mosque in MedinaCity is not only a place that brings peace and serenity to my heart. It also has the most beautiful shades of blue throughout the whole day. It is always open regardless or day and time. It is always liveliest irregardless of time. The second largest mosque and holiest site in Islamafter the Masjidil Haram in Mecca- one of the most important landmarks in the history of Islam. #Mosque #mosquevisit #healing #Nabawimosque

Spiritual Journey
al-Masjid an-Nabawi was the second mosque built, first being the Quba Mosque, in the history of Islam and is now one of the largest mosques in the world. The current plan of the mosque dates back to the early years of 1990s and incorporates the constructions from late Ottoman era to early and modern Saudi periods. Today the Mosque of the Prophet is an extensive complex of buildings and structures that not only covers nearly all of the Medina of the early seventh century CE; it also incorporates several other sites like Jannatul Baqi and Saqifah Bani Saidah that were located clearly outside of the city bounds.

Calm in the right place
My second DIY umrah trip. Previously I went solo, and this time went with my friend. It was great experience, handling all the bookings myself, and made plan for myself. #Umrahdiy #awesomepic
