A rare holiday trip to Kenting, many people must want to choose a comfortable and enjoyable B&B to relax, right? Besides the common suite-style B&Bs, Kenting also has many unique standalone villas. The entrance to the Shanfu Ecological Walk is like a maze of small paths, full of exploration fun. As you walk down, you'll pass through several different spaces, and then suddenly it opens up, revealing a breathtaking view. This is a great place for bird watching and sea gazing 🌊, and you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets 🌅. There is a plaza next to the trail where you can run around freely or just sit quietly and daydream. It's truly a perfect blend of nature and culture. 🌟👍
This spot is along the coastal route of the island tour 🌊. After a brief introduction, I learned that this place used to be an early artillery position, which has now been transformed into an ecological park with installation art. The renovation of the old military base has been very successful, making it a worthwhile place to visit. 🙌🏻👍

Sunset at Xiao Liuqiu: The Majesty of Nature and the Peace of Mind
Arriving at Xiao Liuqiu in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, I specifically came to enjoy the sunset. I chose to go to 'Beauty Cave,' which is an excellent spot to watch the sunset. Riding an electric scooter along the winding path, the coconut trees swayed in the wind, and the waves gently lapped against the shore, giving me an unparalleled sense of relaxation. Upon arrival, the sun had already begun to slowly set, and the clouds on the horizon were dyed golden and orange, like a dreamy painting.
Standing on the rocks, I quietly admired this spectacular view. The sun slowly sank below the sea level, and the golden shimmering sea surface was like a mirror, reflecting the changing colors. Watching the sun finally disappear below the horizon, I couldn't help but feel that such a beautiful scene is truly precious. 🌅🏝️✨
Little Liuqiu Travel Guide: Departing from Kaohsiung! Only 90 Minutes Away!
Little Liuqiu is a beautiful island in Taiwan, known for its clear waters and relaxed atmosphere. From Kaohsiung, it takes about an hour to drive to Donggang Pier, and then less than 30 minutes by ferry to Little Liuqiu, making it very convenient.

First, it takes about an hour to drive from Kaohsiung to Donggang Pier. You can take a ferry to Little Liuqiu from either Lianchitan Pier or Caoya Pier in Kaohsiung. The ferry ride takes about 30 to 40 minutes, offering stunning sea views along the way.

Taiwan is a beautiful place, and Xiaoliuqiu has become my favorite in recent years.

I didn't see them when I snorkeled at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, but this time I was able to witness them with my own eyes. It was my first time visiting a Taiwanese island like Xiaoliuqiu, and I had no idea how beautiful their ocean was. Of course, I don't know how to dive, but snorkeling and joining the coastal ecology tour were also a lot of fun.
I started my journey from Kaohsiung to Xiaoliuqiu, first taking a car to Donggang Wharf and then a thirty-minute boat ride. If you're like me and don't know how to ride an electric scooter or bike, you'll have to rely on the island's only taxi. However, staying at a B&B near the pier is also very convenient.

Went there for my diving ow cert, and it was so amazing see a lot of sea turtle and marine creatures x it is said to have more than 800 sea turtle there. And I found one of the biggest sea turtle. The water visually is good and the sea was pretty calm when u was there.

Pet friendly cafe in Lambai Island
It’s the first time I visited this cafe, and when we walk in we were welcomed by two lovely poodles, name Guai guai and jiu jiu, they are the pet of the cafe owner qi qi li cafe. The owner said they will be there every wed and Thursday.
Their coffee is nice and it’s a beautiful relax glass house style cafe.
Lovely view and it’s a huge place. You can find many spot for photo taking.

Leisurely Vacation in Kenting: Sunshine, Beaches, and Middle Eastern Ambiance
Our journey began at Zuoying High-Speed Rail Station, where we took a train and a connecting bus, finally arriving at the long-awaited Kenting.
Along the way, from the hustle and bustle of the city to the fields and coastline, the sky was so clear it lifted our spirits.
We stayed at the Amanda Hotel in Kenting, Pingtung, which is filled with Middle Eastern flair, making it super photogenic. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated.
The sands of Kenting's beaches are white and fine, and the waters crystal clear. We had a blast riding jet skis and donuts, which was both thrilling and exhausting. Under the scorching sun, we rented umbrellas and chairs to rest in the shade, enjoying the sea breeze, listening to the waves, and watching the children playing on the beach - it was incredibly relaxing.
In the evening, we visited the Kenting Night Market, where some chain stores were open, and daily necessities were available. The variety of food stalls was dazzling. We indulged in fried seafood, spring roll ice cream, and fried pork chops, each bite utterly satisfying. The night market also had many handicrafts and souvenirs, and we checked out some shell crafts.
The next morning we went to the lighthouse, where the grasslands made for great photos, with the ocean as a backdrop. We wanted to walk on the beach, but the rising tide and waterlogged path stopped us.
This trip to Kenting allowed us to enjoy the fun of sunshine, beaches, and water activities, as well as the unique charm of Middle Eastern ambiance. Although the stay at Amanda Hotel in Kenting, Pingtung was hot, it was photogenic and made our trip unforgettable. The laughter on the beach, the bustle of the night market, and the hotel all became cherished memories in our hearts.

More than just a transit bus station
Located at Pingtung, the most Southern province in Taiwan, Hengchun is the transit station to popular destination, Kenting. Usually, people just transit there but it actually worth a visit!
First, you can take around 20minutes of walk to the deer paradise, where you can see also turtles, sheeps apart from deer. They are very gentle unlike those at Nara, Japan which were very aggressive😹
Then, there are various choices of food at the Hengchun Old Street. Deep fried egg pancake and local authentic mung bean ice are recommended.
Please also grab some onion cookies which are only available at Hengchun, you won't regret buying them.
Journey towards the South
Getting There - Take shuttle bus from Zuoying at Kaohsiung which takes around 2.5hours, or a private car if many people are going together
Attractions - Eluanbi light tower along the seaside with many vegetations

There is a small hotpot restaurant located at the intersection of Minsheng Road and Minhe Road in Pingtung City, called New Shanghai. It was previously called Little Shanghai, but it looks like it has been renovated after a new owner! The hotpot is affordable. The cheese and milk hotpot I ordered today is $170. The seafood is about the same price. You can also enjoy all-you-can-eat popcorn, coffee, drinks, ice cream, pork rice, pasta, prince noodles, etc. It’s really pretty What a bargain!
The price per person is more than 100 (including vegetables, meat, ingredients, etc.), and the additional ingredients are about $200 (like today I added pork belly). The taste is pretty good, and the meat quality is okay. The pork belly is above average, and I personally think the CP value is very good. Highly recommended to everyone!

It’s easy to access roads, we went there by electric bike we rent. Cheap reasonable price.
It does get windy so don’t forget to bring a coat. Definitely a must visit!
