PAPUA PARADISE ECO RESORT
This resort gave us a pleasant surprise. Totally above expectations in every way. From the warm and efficient start of meeting Romy at the airport, we were delighted with every aspect of our three week stay.
The water huts are beautiful, very spacious, clean and very well appointed, equipped with a desk, large wardrobe, wardrobe for electronics and mosquito nets large enough to qualify as a room! The bathroom is stylish and works well with a nice hot shower.
On the balcony are hammocks, sunbeds and chairs, to enjoy the day, watch the amazing sunsets and catch the fish swimming below - baby sharks, rays etc.
The gardens are very beautiful with manicured trails and interesting plants, and full of wildlife especially crabs and frogs. There is a trail so you can walk a little further into the rainforest, and onto a platform for bird watching. There's a lot to do besides just diving here!
The diving activity was amazing. The coral reefs appear healthy and teeming with a variety of fish, sometimes in surprising numbers. We saw dozens of mantas, sharks, turtles, bumpheads etc. and small creatures. Each dive becomes an adventure and an opportunity to take vacation photos.
Apart from diving, another great part of this holiday is the team led by Leah and Chris. Everyone works hard to provide a good experience for the guests. Everything works like a clockwork. From My who organizes the dives from six every morning to Sylvain who escorts those who want to do the night dives, the dive center is amazing. Any problems with guest equipment are happily handled and Chris seems like a genius who understands anything in this world that needs to be disassembled and then repaired
