I would suggest you to take a swimming plan too, it's totally worth it! Before you visit, make sure you are in good condition because its gonna be pretty exhausting track to follow. You will need to walk down hill around 20 min' to reach the river, climb narrow cliff, jump from cliff direct to river, and experiencing rafting without boat. Stunning scenery, fresh environment. Certainly this is the best place I have ever visited. Its turquoise clear water and rock at every side of the stream are really mesmerizing. Swimming through the water simply amazing and you dont want to leave this place. At the top of the stream you'll see trees bridging each other giving shade from the sun. The best time to visit Green Canyon is when Dry Season (commonly between May to late September) because around this season the water is shallow and clear enough to enjoy. Otherwise when Wet Season (late September/ October to April) the rain water will drown the canyon and the stream is too strong (and also the water is not as clear) PS: Dont forget bring your live action camera such as GoPro because you dont want to miss to capture the beautiful Green Canyon. #urbanexplorer

Batu Karas is such a hidden paradise especially for the surfer! The local here mostly a fisherman and their kids already practice surfing in such young age. In Batu Karas you can find many surfing camp and bungalows that provide such a good facilities. The down side of this place is the accessibility to get there is limited, there is a flight there once a day with a small plane but the departure time could be unpredictable since it depends on the weather. I drive there and it took me 5 hours from Bandung and the road is small so not recommend to drive at night #mustvisit #surfing
