At the end of the cave there is light
Pha Kuang Cave is located 3 kilometers west of Nong Khiaw's town and is one of the most remarkable caves in the area, with a 300-meter inner chamber.
One thing to keep in mind is that the cave's entrance, as well as several sections of the inner route, are quite narrow, so you'll have to struggle over some boulders and squeeze through some cave openings to enjoy the entire experience.
The inside of the chamber, however, is covered in stalactites and stalagmites, as well as glittering rock crystals, so it's well worth the effort.

Nam Ou river laos 🇱🇦
#traveldiaries
The Nam Ou is one of the most important rivers of Laos. It runs 448 km from Phongsaly Province to Luang Prabang Province. The river rises in Muang Ou Nua near the Lao-Chinese border, and traverses the northern Laos mountains and gorges until meeting the Mekong River in Ban Pak Ou of Laos 🇱🇦.
You can swim on the Nam Ou either take a refreshing bath or follow the river current with your life jacket. It is up to you! But I think the water is not clear enough to make a good shower.
Access to safe water in Laos is a challenge for the majority of the country's population of 7.4 million people. According to UN and UNICEF data, 82% of households in Laos lack access to a safely managed water supply and 39% lack safe sanitation.
