Aaron Beach Resort
We stayed here in Aaron Beach Resort and it was great. Among all the beaches in Brgy. Tan-awan, Oslob, Cebu, this is the most affordable.Very nice ambiance and wonderful sun rise makes.
Aaron Beach Resort is one of the resorts you can try out if you are planning to have a great time swimming with the whale sharks. It is a 3-4 hour drive from Cebu City.
Locals and tourists visit Oslob mainly due to the presence of enormous whale sharks in the vicinity.
Whale watching can be done early in the morning until lunch because the whale sharks will go to much deeper waters during the afternoon.

Diving with whale sharks 🇵🇭
I am not an experienced diver, however, this company made an exception as I have been diving a few times before and had done the discovery scuba-diving course in MoalBoal the day before.
My friend and I booked package B at ‘Deep zone dive center’ in Oslob, which includes one whale dive, and two boat dives.
The day began at 6:15am where we were picked up at our hotel around the corner in Oslob, then we headed out diving at around 7:45 am for the whale sharks. You get a briefing before you go about the distance you have to keep away from the whale sharks as they are protected and you will be fined if you touch them.
The guide, Robert, was very patient and stayed with us the whole time. We had an hour dive at the whale sharks, before having a short break back at the dive centre, and then we went for our two dives on their new boat.
The first boat dive we saw some black tip sharks and on the second boat dive we saw lots of schools of fish, some barracuda and tuna. At no point did I feel unsafe and, as you can see from the footage, Robert and his team took some amazing photos as well as videos.
The whole day cost 6500 pesos each and lasted around eight hours, a sandwich and water was provided on the boat.
I would definitely recommend this trip, for anyone, looking to go diving as an experienced qualified diver, or experienced unqualified dive whose been many times before (but doesn’t have a license). #urbanexplorer #mytripvlog #awesomepic #2023travelwish #philippines #asiatrip #diving #seasidephotoguide #adventure

You will have your own guide. 🍌🥭🍏They will provide fresh fruit or vegetable 🌽to feed the monkeys. The monkeys are very friendly, with no scratching - they will poke you gently for more food though, 🐒 they are baby monkeys so be careful and don't step on their tails. definitely worth to visit. 🐒👣🇵🇭

OSLOB- must see Cuartel & Calle Aragones
👣👣Take a historical walk and witness the unfolding of this history by visiting the Cuartel! 👣👣
🌟
Between two of the oldest streets in Oslob, Calle Aeternidad and Calle Aragones, stands the Oslob Cuartel. This well-preserved structure was built in 1860 but remained unfinished at the end of the Spanish occupation in 1898. 🇪🇸Similar to the Nuestra Señora de la Immaculada Conception, it was also made of coral stones. Cuartel is an unfinished structure built during the Spanish colonization made through the effort of El Gran Maestro Don Marcus Sabandal. It was initially planned to house the Spanish army and was supposed to take part in the first line of defense of the Spaniards during the attack of the Moros. The strong edifice of the quarters was made from the nineteen centimeters thick, coral stones of the collapsed bell tower of its nearby church Nuestra Senora dela Immaculada.
🗿Near the bay area is the statue of Father Julian Bermejo, also known by Cebuanos as El Parroco Capitan or El Padre Capitan. He was the one who spearheaded the building of the defense system against moro invaders, which included creating a chain of watchtowers along the bays of several towns in Southern Cebu, starting from Santander all the way to Carcar.
🔝🇵🇭Give yourself at least 2 hours to be able to see everything. If you are into history a must-see.

Whale Shark Encounter in Oslob
Another popular attraction in the southernmost part of Cebu - in the town of Oslob is Whale Shark watching. Whale Sharks are known to be the biggest species in the world and you can see them close in Oslob! You can also have a close encounter by snorkeling with them. The experience is indeed very memorable and enjoyable. A lot of people flock the area so it is best to go there early so you get to go first in line! Both locals and foreigners visit this place. Oslob is a nice place and the locals are very friendly.

Small coastal town but world famous
One of the high light of my recent trip in our country is the tour in Oslob Cebu. This coastal town is small but world famous because of its whale shark watching tours. The tour is a guided one with pre orientation and supervises by the local government of Oslob. It is a wonderful experience and one you shouldn't be missed in Oslob. Imagine the encounter for real! It is one of the best.
I wish for year 2023 I will be able to travel in South Korea and Japan! Still hoping for that.

Pitstop - otw to seeing whale sharks
Stayed at Down South as were in Oslob for the whale sharks and the Tumalog Falls.
1. Basic hotel with nice personnel.
2. The room is quite basic but definitely clean and comfortable
3. The view of the sea was great and if you are lucky, you will be greeted with a beautiful sunrise.
4. WIFI connection is quite unstable, though.

Tumalog falls
Getting There - cebu Philippines
Nag bus ako south terminal ata ako sumakay.. 3 hours byahe.
Attractions - Natalia
Tumalog falls on Cebu Island is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Philippines. The turquoise waters of the falls aren’t quite as vibrant as at Kawasan falls, but the sheer size of the waterfall makes it an incredible place to visit. Due to the somewhat remote location of Tumalog falls in South Cebu it was only discovered in 2012, but thankfully the waterfall is now easily accessible by road. It’s a great place to adventure to as part of a day trip discovering the amazing waterfalls of South Cebu. Two of the other waterfalls worth visiting on the island are Aguinid falls and Kawasan falls. Find out everything you need to know about visiting Tumalog falls with this guide!

Seascape Resort
If there's one thing unique about Oslob from other municipalities or cities in Cebu, apart from the famous whale shark watching attraction, it's really their refreshing and breathtakingly beautiful resorts — those that are really unique to the eyes of the locals.
After the viral hit Santorini-inspired Issa’s Haven Resort and the visually appealing Villa on a Cliff, another resort in Oslob will surely capture again millions of people. Ladies and gents, another first from SUGBO.PH, we are proud to introduce the Seascape Beach Resort – one of Cebu’s best beachfront resorts. Let your eyes bask the breathtaking sunrise and clear turquoise waters. Take a dip in their infinity pool while you soak up the Oslob sun.
The resort is just located along the national highway. Whether you are driving your own vehicle or riding a bus (P170 regular fare) from the South Bus Terminal, it’s recommended to navigate via Waze and search for “Seascape Beach Resort”. If you’re coming from Cebu City, on your left side, there’s a WHITE with gray accent structure.

Cuartel Ruins in Oslob
In the southernmost part of Cebu lies a peaceful flourishing town full of ineffable beauty from its surrounding beaches that draws you in to its dominating mountains filled with underlying wonders. There is no wonder why Oslob often makes it to the top spots to visit in Cebu.
The popular whale sharks or butandings as we call it which frequent the beaches of this town made Oslob a famous tourists spot not just around its neighboring towns and islands but also across the country and even globally. However, aside from this favored whale-watching activity there are other things you can do in Oslob too.
The Municipal Heritage Park consists of Calle Aragones, Immaculate Conception Church, Cuartel, Baluarte, and the baywalk. I would say this is one of the best places to visit in summer because you’ll surely have unlimited Instagram posts with almost every corner of their heritage park offering an ‘instagrammable’ spot.

Beauty of Oslob
Oslob is one of the most naturally gifted municipalities in Cebu. It boasts not only some of the most grand beaches but also majestic waterfalls such as Kawasan and Aguinid Falls.
Another stunningly beautiful waterfall that’s worth the visit is the gentle and serene Tumalog Falls.
The beauty of Tumalog Falls is quite seasonal but be that as it may, its beauty still holds a candle to the other famous waterfalls in the Philippines.
The safest time to visit Tumalog Falls is during the months of January to June, the dry seasons, but drought and other seasonal factors may also make the falls look quite underwhelming. To experience the beauty of the waterfalls at its fullest, it may be wise to visit between the early weeks of the rainy season to have a sufficient amount of waterfall that is safe and properly showcases the beauty of Tumalog.

Oslob's Best Hotel
the first time we went here was when the lockdown was lifted for the first time.
Vacation away from our Vacation
The staff here took such good care of us I felt like it was a vacation away from our vacation. They handled everything for us and there was no confusion or waiting. They packed us lunch and beers for our trip to the falls (a must do) and kept our belongings safe while we were gone as we had already checked out of our room. The food was amazing, the ambience of the place was fantastic and our non air conditioned room by the pool was perfectly cool with the fans. Had we not been scheduled to head back to Canada the next day I'm sure we'd have stayed an extra day or two.

Sunrise is Love!
Waking up early in the morning with full charged drone battery is the best fist thing to do! You’ll see how fishermen catch fish by the shore, capturing the landscape while the sunshine still not stunning bright.
Oslob is kinda far from Mactan Airport by bus, the best way is to travel from Bohol then cross the sea to get to Oslob. Its enjoyable to see the chocolate hills and other attractions in Bohol.

Oslob Oslob snorkeling and whale shark dance
Oslob was originally a bland town, but full of vitality and world-famous for a visit to a behemoth. The whale shark, the world's largest fish, survives here. It is a must-see experience to experience the sea creatures with a body weight of more than 10 meters and a weight of 40 tons. In the course of the experience, the boatman can help with the whale shark and leave a unique memory in the deep sea.
tips: It takes about 3 hours from the city to get to the whale shark in Oslob. It needs to go out early in the morning. Because there are too many people watching whale sharks, after arriving at the destination, they will follow the guide arrangement, pick up the number, and wait for the number to line up. Snorkeling supplies and life jackets are issued in the queue. During the peak season, waiting in line for a long time, please listen carefully to the number, always stand with your team members, don't leave without permission~~
