Worship and make merit in Mukdahan, 1 Day Trip.
Since we're in different provinces and traveling on a round-trip, today I visited three places. My favorite destination is Wat Dan Phra In. Let's get started!
1. Wat Phu Dan Tae, also known as Wat Phutthothhammatharo, is located along Highway 212, approximately 4 kilometers from Nikhom Kham Soi District. Located at 133 Moo 1, Ban Chai Mongkol, Chok Chai Subdistrict, Nikhom Kham Soi District, it houses Luang Pho Thammakrak, a large Buddha image enshrined on the roof of the ordination hall. This brick and mortar image is depicted in the First Sermon or Dharmachakra posture, with a radiant Dharmachakra above. It's visible from afar, as the Buddha image sits atop a small hill.
2. Wat Pa Phu Hang, another must-see in Mukdahan, features a Naga courtyard, a Naga serpent rising from the rocks, awe-inspiring and evocative of reverence and sacredness. Once you've visited, you'll know it's beautiful. It's a must-visit for worship and blessings. This is a place for meditation and a natural tourist attraction, offering a peaceful and shady atmosphere. It boasts beautiful and unique Naga statues.

3. Wat Dan Phra In: The temple is nestled in the forest, surrounded by beautiful nature. A must-see for those interested in spiritual practices, the statue of Indra riding the Erawan elephant, the Chedi Kaew Chaimongkol, various Buddha images, and other sacred objects, including the magnificent Naga Cave, is a place for worship and blessings. The numerous structures have attracted a steady stream of visitors, leading to the construction of Pu Sri Satta Naga, Amarin riding the Erawan elephant, and Pu Klet Kaew (Phaya Phet Phatthanakarat).
