The Smallest Chapel ⛪️ I ever visited 🇨🇦
#churches #100waysoftravel
I have a chance to visit the Smallest Chapel in Niagara, often referred to as the Little Chapel, Living Water Wayside Chapel!
It has an endearing story that adds to its charm. Located at 1458 Niagara Stone Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this quaint chapel was constructed in the early 20th century by a local resident named Frank G. Smith. Designed with an intimate and personal touch, the chapel is notable for its modest size, able to accommodate only a small group of people at a time.
Its diminutive scale has made it a popular choice for small, private ceremonies, particularly weddings, where couples seek a unique and personal setting. Over the years, the chapel has been lovingly maintained, preserving its original character and making it a beloved landmark in the Niagara region. The Little Chapel stands as a testament to the charm and appeal of intimate, bespoke venues.
Really nice little cosy chapel.

Greaves is the BEST jam in Canada 🍁
Greaves Jams & Marmalades quaint little jam shop in Niagara on the Lake is simply a delight!!! It’s been there since 1927. The jams are made with the freshest ingredients and are packed with flavor. Each and every flavor I've tried has been outstanding.
The shop is quaint and cozy, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help you find the perfect jam. Located right on the Main Street - their pure black currant jam is arguably the best I’ve ever had!
Whether you're looking for a gift for a loved one or just want to treat yourself, you can't go wrong with a visit to Greaves Jams & Marmalades Shop.
I highly recommend this gem of a shop!

Canadian Ice Wine vinery - Inniskillin Winery
Inniskillin Icewine is also called the liquid gold. The grapes were pick at midnight between -12 to -14 degree Celsius; while each piece of grape can only produce one drop of icewine. The vinery features winery tours with wine tasting throughout the day. We can resist to bring several cases of icewine home after such a knowledgeable introduction.
Outlet Collection at Niagara
No shopping trip will be complete without a visit to an outlet mall, which typically hosts a collection of the best brands at unbeatable prices. Niagara Outlet Collection is home to brands such as Reebok, Hugo Boss, Tumi and plenty more! It’s outdoor design also allows for more room, making your shopping experience more pleasant by not feeling claustrophobic. Just be sure to dress warmly during winter months! Another interesting fact about the outlet is its pet policy - dogs are allowed inside the mall, but only certain shops allow dogs inside. 🦮

Just over ten minutes away from the Niagara Falls, at the intersection of the QEW Highway and Highway 89, there is an open-air Niagara Outlets (Outlet Collection At Niagara), which is the largest outlet shopping mall in Canada so far.
This outlet shopping mall combines leisure, shopping, and dining, with more than 100 international fashion and lifestyle brand retail stores. The brands offer significant discounts, and their factory store prices are so affordable that they are hard to resist.
Although there are no top international luxury brands, it covers most of the second and third-tier brands that people love to shop daily, such as Coach, Columbia, The North Face, New Balance, Pandora, Nike, Adidas, Michael Kors, Boss, etc. There are also chain department stores OFF5TH and Marshalls here, making it a shopping destination worth considering if you are not particularly pursuing luxury brands.
The shopping center also includes a food court and a market different from other shopping centers. It allows you to indulge in shopping while enjoying delicious food.

Queenston Heights Park: A national historic site established to commemorate the Battle of Queenston Heights between the United States and Canada

About 10 kilometers north of Niagara Falls, there is a small village called Queenston. To the south of the village by the Niagara River, there is a highland overlooking a 100-meter-high cliff facing the river. This highland was the site of the famous Battle of Queenston Heights in 1812.
That year, the Canadian (British) forces defeated the invading American army at this location, with a cost of 14 deaths and 77 injuries, causing 300 casualties and capturing 958 Americans, achieving a significant victory.
Now, this place has been turned into Queenston Heights Park, and the Canadian Parliament has designated it as the National Historic Site of Canada for visitors to explore. The park is open all year round for free (with services such as guided tours provided in summer).
Inside the park, there is Brock's Monument, commemorating Sir Isaac Brock, a British Major General who died here during the War of 1812. From the highland platform of the park, one can also enjoy the view of the Niagara River ahead, which is quite spectacular.

🌸❣️Mcdonalds at Niagara Falls
#cherryblossom2024
We are enjoying ourselves in Canada and one of our favouriite activity is to try out Mcdonalds in every places we go. Each Mcdonalds is unique and they have their own localized version food menu. This is what we like to try out and also any seasonal menu. The drinks menu over here at are really special, they have the limited special McFlurry with squishmallows and caramel popcorn. This Mcdonalds outlet is also a drive through outlet and there are plenty of parking space too. We manage to use the self service kiosk to place our orders and it is really easy.
In the small lakeside town of Niagara, Canada, there is a 'World's Smallest Church' that has made it into the Guinness World Records
I am Guanhai Tingtao tour+ a global traveler, please follow me!

In addition to the falls, Niagara, Canada, also boasts a 'World's Smallest Church' that has been recognized by the Guinness World Records.
The church is known as 'The Living Water Wayside Chapel', and it is situated next to the scenic Niagara River Parkway (Niagara River PKWY), nestled among lush fruit trees and lawns.
There is a narrow path in front of the door, less than 2 meters wide, with a small parking lot and a spacious lawn. The church door is about 1.8 meters high, and the interior is 5 square meters, with a row of wooden chairs on each side of the entrance, seating 5 to 6 people.
Built at the beginning of the last century, the small church has a long history. It has recorded the development history of the lakeside town of Niagara. Today, it has become a must-visit spot for tourists visiting Niagara Falls and the surrounding towns.
It is said that although the church is small, locals love to hold weddings here. When I visited, however, I did not see a resident priest.
Now, let's take a look at the true face of Canada's miniature church!

Niagara actually hides the smallest church in the world!
This is probably a must-see attraction in the Niagara area😍 The smallest church⛪ in the world——The living water wayside chapel⛪
It is the smallest church⛪ in the world that is still open to the public. Apart from its small size, it is no different from other churches⛪. You can worship, pray🙏🏻 here, and even hold a special and romantic wedding💒 here (if you want to hold a wedding💒 here, you need to make an appointment in advance. Why is it special to hold a wedding here? Because you can receive a special commemorative certificate issued by the local department when you hold a wedding here.)
The entire church⛪ interior only has a few rows of double seats, which can accommodate no more than 12 people. Although it is small, it is really complete. What it should have is not small, this is its special feature.😎
⏰About opening hours: In fact, it does not have specific opening hours, but it is basically open during the day, because it is on the side of the road, so please feel free to go.⏰
🎫About church tickets: This is free🆓 to visit, no tickets are required, and no appointment is required in advance.🎫
🚘About transportation:
1️⃣If you start from the big waterfall, there is no bus to come here, but you can scan the shared bicycle🚲 over there, I see many people are riding shared bicycles🚵🏻♂️ over, the one-way distance is about 20 kilometers. (It is very comfortable to ride from the big waterfall along the Niagara River, because it has a separate cycling lane, and the scenery along the way is also great, I really recommend slowly riding over.👍🏻)
2️⃣Self-driving, it takes about 20 minutes to drive from the waterfall. Parking🅿️ can be directly parked behind this church⛪, which is free.🚘
🏞️About the vicinity of the church: There is a farm next to and behind the church, where you can buy fresh farm products or pick peaches🍑, strawberries🍓, apples🍎, grapes🍇 and other seasonal fruits. (The ice cream🍦 here is also good, most of the ingredients come from their own farm.)🏞️
⚠️The church⛪ is on the way to Niagara on the lake. If you go to the small town of Niagara, remember to enter the navigation📍 on the map🗺️ in advance, so you won't miss this special church⛪!⚠️
When you realized you’ve been working so hard that you forgotten how to even shop. so here we are at #niagarafactoryoutlet. Hoping to get some good deals 🤪 And yes, when the reindeer is so cute and you can’t even resist!

Perfect weekend getaway destination!
Niagara on the Lake is a charming town with a rich history and breathtaking scenery. The main street is lined with quaint shops and restaurants, making it the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. My favorite is the hat shop and greave jam are must stops!
Love driving around and looking at the stunning old houses!
❤️ The stunning Niagara River serves as a backdrop for beautiful sunsets. Take a wine tour and sample the local wines or visit the historic Fort George for a unique look into the War of 1812.
This town is a must-visit for those looking for a relaxed getaway with a touch of sophistication.
🚗 Just a short drive from Toronto would highly recommend for a lovely weekend!

Canadian Companion Gifts - National Treasure "Ice Wine"
Canada "Ice Wine" has been named "Canada National Wine", has won many international wine competitions, and has been loved by many famous people, such as former US President Clinton Queen Elizabeth II and so on.
Ice wine's unique flavor features: sweet and sour balance, sweet and mellow, refreshing, often with ripe pear, peach, mango and flower aroma, but also with rich honey, almonds, Dried fruit, rich and delicate, low in alcohol, suitable for drinking alone, but also with fresh fruits, fresh cheese, cakes and other desserts.
Ice wine brewing requires about 20 times more raw materials than regular wine. Usually 8-10 kg of grapes can make 1 bottle of 375ml ice wine, while ordinary 1kg of grapes can be used to brew 1 bottle of 750ml. Ice grapes are usually picked by hand in the cold winter, and they also need to work in the middle of the night, and their labor costs are also high.
Ice wine can be brewed in only a few countries around the world. Except for Canada, the output of other countries is very unstable. For example, Germany and Austria sometimes produce ice wine once in 3-4 years, and the real ice wine entering the Chinese market is less.
The ice wine of this winery on the edge of Lake Niagara has won the award for years. The hospitable owner opened a bottle of good wine, the red tasted the white, the white tasted the ice, and gradually found I was drunk under the maple leaf between the blue sky and white clouds~~
