New Orleans City Park
This park was larger than Central Park in New York and the oldest oak trees in the world were located in this park. The trees look so beautiful it's like they're wearing a veil on their heads. There was also an amusement park and a museum nearby.I was able to travel as much as possible because I traveled in the spring, when the weather was really nice.If you want to get lost in nature like me, I suggest go to this park.

Come visit Louisiana!
I’ve never been to Louisiana before but after this trip I’ll be sure to visits again! Going to the French Quarter was an experience in itself with the live music, delicious market food and sweet deals. You HAVE to try Bésame-Nola, a Latin inspired tapas bar that serves bite sized portions of huge flavors. I had never tried an arepa before and after ordering 2 pork arepas, it will not be my last time. Their portioned Paella was flavorful and was packed with shrimp, mussels, and clams. The rice was moist and delicious. They also had a Cauliflower dish that had Latin spices and edible flowers on it. loved it. the Mfongo with jerk pork was their best seller! and last but certainly not least their Ceviche was fresh with salmon and the chili oil kicked it up a notched.#bucketlistreboot #neworleans #tripblazers #tripblazers

Steamboats and Swamp boat in N'awlins
Where: New Orleans, Louisiana
When: November 2017
This was a very quick trip to New Orleans, we were only in town for 3 days. But what a packed and fun-filled 3 days they were. We didn't have a car while in town so we travelled almost everywhere by foot (unless we were on tour boat or bus) and what a remarkably easy city it is to get around.
Our trip on Steamboat Natchez took us east from the port along the Mississippi a ways before turning around. The commentary throughout was great and we loved that there was a bar on-board. If I was heading back to New Orleans I think I would try the dinner cruise next time.
On day 2 we joined a bus tour our in to the bayous where boarded a swamp boat to look for Gators. Now I'm an Aussie so I am well used to Crocodiles but it was fun travelling around the swamp in the flat bottom boat. It gives a different perspective of Louisiana life and our guide was hysterical. I'm not sure I've laughed so hard in my life.
We took in a bit of shopping on our 3rd and final day and it wouldn't be trip to New Orleans if we didn't;t stop for hot fresh Beignets from Cafe Du Monde. They were every bit as delicious as I have heard they were. 10/10

Cafe at the Catahoula Hotel – New Orleans
The Catahoula Hotel is a chic hotel in New Orleans that just might be more known for the Trixie Minx Mural on the wall of their rooftop terrace. Trixie Minx is a legendary local burlesque figure and this mural is a popular site for Instagrammers.
Don’t forget to capture the patio furniture in your shot which is the same turquoise colour as the clothes on Trixie.

New Orleans is a fabulous city to visit, and much more than just Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Obviously you want to see those places, but make sure you get out into the other neighborhoods where the real city is found. Get away from the tourist areas and find the street music and amazing people that make this outstanding destination one of the most unique destinations in the world.

The Mississippi River, the largest river in the United States, flows into the Gulf of Mexico in New Orleans, so a trip to New Orleans must not be missed is a cruise on the Mississippi River on the steamboat Natchez. The ship departs from the heart of the French Quarter, and a two-hour cruise showcases the beauty of the lower Mississippi River and the vitality of the port city of New Orleans. The cruise has a buffet lunch and a jazz band on the boat, like a lively big party.

Romantic New Orleans French Quarter. New Orleans was once occupied by the French, so there is still a French area here. This old block with a strong French style has a history of more than 200 years. In 1803, Americans bought large plots of land from Napoleon, most of which were destroyed during the Civil War, and the French district of New Orleans was well preserved. Many of the restaurants here have a history of one or two hundred years, and the exterior of the building maintains the style of the year. Walking through the streets, you can find the home of Napoleon. The most lively area in the French Quarter is Bourbon Street, where bars, restaurants and street performers make it very lively. It is also the location of the American drama "The Vampire of the First Generation", which attracted many people to come to this tour.

New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, only knew about the grilled wings of New Orleans. It was discovered that there was such a beautiful city in the southern United States. New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz, preserved in the old quarter: the French Quarter, and the city of the estuary of the Mississippi River. The history of the black slaves left a lot of ruins and manors here, and it is definitely worth a visit. At this time, tall oak trees, blooming Ziwei, and beautiful photos are not used for coloring.

Come to Tableau, a restaurant not to be missed in New Orleans. Located in Jackson Square, French Quarter, New Orleans, this restaurant is connected to the historic Le Petit Theatre. Both the environment and the dishes are superb. The restaurant has a oyster bar, a wine cellar, and a dining area on the second floor balcony. It is worth a special trip to taste.

There are two things that New Orleans must not miss: oysters and jazz. Because it is close to the Gulf of Mexico, the quality of the oysters here is very good, the taste is delicious, tender and smooth, without any astringency. Almost every good restaurant has a special oyster bar, and some people are now stripping oysters. The most popular way to eat oysters in the local area is to mix the raw oysters with mustard and ketchup and pour them with soda crackers. It is delicious. And oysters are also cheap, usually around a dozen dollars.
Recommend a oyster on the Bourbon Street in the French Quarter: Desire Oyster Bar, the main oyster, you can go to the opposite Jazz Playhouse to listen to live jazz. New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz, and almost every bar has a jazz band performance, which is absolutely enjoyable for jazz fans. The Jazz Playhouse's band is more sophisticated and the atmosphere is very good.

New Orleans has always been the gastronomic capital of the United States. There are two kinds of cuisines in a city. Crayfish and oysters are also famous. They have smashed a bloody road in the boring hamburger in the United States. Seasoned with a variety of southern spices, it is extremely bold to use, unlike the imaginary American cuisine.
But the local roast chicken wings are really! difficult! eat! Or Chinese KFC's New Orleans roast chicken wings are delicious ~

New Orleans, the old town of the United States at the mouth of the Mississippi River, has a 300-year history.
The street is full of French, surrounded by jazz, the city of voodoo culture, the world's second largest carnival parade, rich and hot crayfish and oysters... rich in layers, sometimes thought to be in Mexico, sometimes thought to be In France, sometimes I think I am in Latin America.

10 years ago, this 200-year-old house became the residence of Adriana and Mr. Bowman, that is Katrina The time to destroy New Orleans, in August 2005, was hit by a Category 5 hurricane, the loss was heavy, the population dropped sharply, and the urban population dropped from 79 in 2004 to 370,000 in 2013. In such an environment of negative population growth, Parks and her husband did the opposite, moving from New York to New Orleans.
"I met Adriana at Princeton University, when we majored in film and writing, and later because of work, we needed to walk around the world often. After going to many cities, we chose to be in New Orleans. Settled, so we sold the house in New York and moved here, Bowman said.
"We were the first people to stay in New Orleans after the hurricane. I still remember the day when I moved, people around us looked at us with incredible eyes."
However for Adriana and Bao For Man, living in New Orleans was the best decision of his life, so they began to actively participate in the revitalization of volunteer activities in New Orleans. Parks continued to write reports, and Bowman continued to shoot videos, which made Gao Caisheng use his own way to make the whole The world understands that New Orleans is regaining its vitality.

If you want to learn about the history of Louisiana, then the Oak Manor and Cotton Farm near New Orleans is a good place to start. Cotton is abundant in northern Louisiana, with large sugar cane fields in the middle, rice growing in the southern marshes, and plantations throughout the state. The black slaves from Africa are the main labor force here. The best film of the 86th Academy Awards, "Twelve Years of Slave", is about the story of the slaves in Louisiana.
From New Orleans, the old road along the banks of the Mississippi River is turning northwest. There are many manors built more than two hundred years ago. This is a typical southern plantation in the United States. Oak Alley Plantation is a relatively close to New Orleans, only 17 miles away. This manor built in 1837-1839 is named after 28 huge oak trees in the courtyard, and because of these oak trees, It was once mistaken for the filming location of the movie "Gone with the Wind".
Oak Manor started with sugar cane as its main business. Now it is open to outside visitors. The guide in the 19th century costume will take 50 minutes to lead the main building of the manor and enjoy the plantation master of the year. The style.

angel or devil, the French district never gives a fixed answer, because they are hard to separate. I love the French-speaking area during the day. Every time I take a few steps, I feel like I am falling back in love. Whether it is a painter, a poet, a magician, a singer or a musician, or even those who run the train, but every word. The diviners who are full of excitement, they can always let people remove all the defenses, and wholeheartedly devote themselves to the interaction with them and get the happiness of being concerned.
When walking in the French Quarter, I usually circumvent those storefronts with expensive paintings and ornaments. The artworks are for sale, but I can't take them at this stage. But there are always some good things that make people feel relaxed, and Erin's poem is one of them.
On the street filled with the joy of saxophone, Erin sat quietly and wrote poetry. She was so quiet that she found her in the noisy street. "Proposition to write poetry", a sky blue sign stands at her feet, Erin raised her head and smiled at me, "I will use the artist on the street to write the theme of poetry," I said.
Erin looked down and thought about inserting the paper into the old-fashioned typewriter. He started to knock it up. I waited quietly for a while before the clarinet band, and a hot poem was sent to me.
Put the ink-stained paper in your pocket. This is what the French area belongs to me. She is different from everything she can see on this land. I will take her away.
