One of the highlights of this trip is to take pictures of the starry sky and the Milky Way. We settled in the camping base by the YamdrokTso Lake the previous night. The accommodation conditions are very simple. There are male dormitories and female dormitories. Each dormitory has 5-6 people, just like the dormitory in school. Because the altitude is a bit high, and I was worried about getting up to see the stars at night, I hardly slept all night. At 4 am in the morning, the team leader called up and took pictures of the starry sky. Once step out the dormitory door, you could see the white Milky Way and the stars by eyes. IPhones can also take some photos with straight shots. But it's still inferior to a professional camera, adjust the shutter to 25 seconds, make a good post, keep it still, Kata, the blockbuster is coming! It's like walking in the universe. On some days, you need to show your border pass four times. A border pass and ID card are essential, so be sure to carry them with you. 🌟 This route takes you around some of the most beautiful snow-capped mountains. In my opinion, the most beautiful is Kula Kangri, with its snow-capped mountains and lakes. You need to make an effort to see the beautiful scenery. It was built more than 1,300 years ago by King Songtsen Gampo to house the statue of Sakyamuni brought from Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty. This temple is not only a holy place of Tibetan Buddhism but also a treasure of Tibetan culture. Ramoche Temple is located about 500 m north of Barkhor Street in Lhasa. It was built in the mid-7th century and houses an 8-year-old statue of Sakyamuni, which is extremely sacred and precious. Day 10: Fly from Lhasa to Shanghai. Finally, the 10-day trip is over, and I can go home and have a good sleep on the plains.

The traditional Tibetan yak hot pot is worth trying, and a cup of goat milk is also good to try occasionally. 1⃣️ On the first day, I took a taxi from the hotel to the Potala Palace. The opening hours of the Potala Palace are different, from 9:00 to 16:30 in the peak season and from 9:30 to 15:00 in the off-season. The ticket price is CNY 200 in the peak season and CNY 100 in the off-season. You need to make a reservation in advance, and it is a little difficult to make a reservation because it is so popular. The tour route of the Potala Palace starts from the main entrance, and you can visit the White Palace, Red Palace, Hall of Dharma King, Hall of Bodhi Path, and Hall of Sounding Copper in turn. Note that the Potala Palace Square is the best place to take panoramic and night photos of the Potala Palace. In the afternoon, I went to Sera Monastery to watch the debate. Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, and Ganden Monastery are known as the three major monasteries in Lhasa. The debate here is very famous, and the monks try their best to debate. 4⃣️ On the fourth day, I drove from Lhasa to Yamdrok Lake and Puma Yumco. The wind at Yamdrok Lake is strong, but it is super beautiful. Is the holy lake more beautiful when the wind is stronger? The water of Puma Yumco has frozen into a huge ice surface. Of course, the little potato from the south, who has never seen the world, will not miss the opportunity to enjoy the ice. At the end of the lake is the sacred mountain of Kula Kangri. After enjoying the lake, I went back to the hotel and continued to work on my business trip.
