I visited Vienna, Austria in April 2023. It was a bit disappointing that there were many buildings under construction, but I definitely want to come back next time to see it all restored. The atmosphere of Vienna was still great.

It's Salzburg and Hallstatt! You usually travel to Vienna a lot〰️ You can go there on a day trip from Vienna☺️ Since it's far, I recommend taking a tour like me if you don't have time, and if you have time, I recommend staying in Halls for one nightㅠ It was such a crazy town that I wanted to stay there for a whole day because it was so pretty. If you don't go, you'll regret it a million times over❗️ 📍Salzburg Salzburg, Mozart's hometown, has the Mirabell Garden and beautiful signs from the movie Sound of Music, and it's fun to look at the pretty signs of the stores just by walking along the luxury street. I went in winter and it was covered in snow, but if you go in other seasons, you can also see the beautiful gardens🫶🏻 📍Hallstatt This place, which was the actual motif of Frozen, is so beautiful that you'd think it would be a fairytale lake town🫧 The road there was pretty, but when I arrived, I kept exclaiming "Wow..." and wandered around🥹 I went on a tour departing from Vienna It took 6 hours round trip, but I never regretted it or had a hard time! We booked a three-bedroom loft apartment, and it was exactly as shown in the pictures—everything was clean and tidy. From the bedroom windows, you can see mountains and lakes on three sides, and from the living room balcony, you can see the village of Hallstatt. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and cooking. The owners provide essentials like tea, coffee, salt, sugar, and basic cooking oil. The apartment also has many games, puzzles, and books that my children loved. They also have a sun deck by the lake, which is a great spot for a quick picnic. The apartment is very close to all the places you want to visit in Hallstatt, yet it is very quiet and away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Hallstatt Lahn (bus/boat station) is a 4-minute walk from the apartment, and we had no trouble dragging our suitcases from there to the apartment. There is a children's park 50 meters from the apartment, which the kids loved. Supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby. The owners are very nice. They live on the first floor. They helped us move our luggage to the second floor (where we stayed) and let us use the washing machine (+ dryer) where we washed all our clothes. They even brought some bread so the kids could feed the swans on the sun deck. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hallstatt.

The salt mines in Hallstatt have a very long history. They were originally on the seabed tens of thousands of years ago, but were uplifted into mountains by the compression of the plates, and these thousand-year-old crystallized salt mines are treasured in this mountain 511 meters above sea level. The tour experience here is held every half an hour. If you buy your ticket on the spot, you shouldn't have to wait too long. After the ticket is checked, you need to change into a miner's uniform and queue up with the staff to receive it, and then return it after the tour. There are two wooden slides in the salt mine. In the past, they were tools for miners to move to the lower level. Now they are the highlight of the tour that excites tourists. With a length of 64 meters, it is also the longest wooden slide in Europe. The tour guide will ask everyone to line up one by one. There is also a traffic light sign above, which is super cute. You can slide down alone or with two people. There is also a small screen above to help you take pictures. After that, we walked all the way in the underground salt mine. Salt crystals can be seen everywhere on the walls. Since 1960, excavation projects have been carried out here every year to continuously study the historical trajectory of mine excavations over the past thousand years. There are also many installations in the tunnels, like a natural indoor museum, allowing tourists to learn about the stories of the past. There was also a wonderful light show that depicted the life of the prehistoric people of Hallstatt in the dim salt caves and salt lakes. I personally felt that it was very thoughtful. Love it once I reached there and will definitely visit again for a longer stay. Great location for remote work trip with the cafe and bars to chill out after work. Came here for a night whilst solo backpacking. A day for me is enough to see the highlights of Vienna. Night life was okayish to be honest. But sightseeings are so pretty. The architectures are next level and would highly recommend everyone to visit the city!! I went solo and met amazing solo travelers there. I was never alone. One thing that we like the most when we go abroad is walking around convenience stores. We get to walk around and see food, local products, and get excited about things that are different from our home country. This is the charm of traveling abroad. Today, we will take you to Unimarkt. Everything here closes very early. From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., they start to close. So we have to hurry. There are a lot of products here: vegetables, fruits, bakery goods, bread, condiments, drinking water, soft drinks, fresh food. Simply put, if the hotel can cook, you won't starve when you go to the supermarket. Haha. What about everyone? Do you like walking around the supermarket when you go abroad? 🇦🇹 Affordable Austria This country is synonymous with fans of Mozart or the movie Sound of Music. When you go here, it's like going to Switzerland but a more affordable version. Austria's position is very strategic because it borders 8 countries, namely Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Liechtenstein and Italy. Depending on where your entry and exit point is here, there are several places you must stop by in Austria: Vienna Salzburg (Sound of Music) Hallstat Innsbruck St Gilgen Graz Don't forget to stop by Schönbrunn Palace while in Vienna. Its beauty amazes architecture lovers. Want to sit there for 3-4 hours. The old town in all cities in Austria is very classic..it really feels like you've stepped into the past. If you have more time, stop by several national parks here such as Gesäuse National Park and Thayatal National Park Hallstat needs no introduction. Its attraction is as strong as Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland and is a meeting place for Malaysians. You can have coffee and gossip here.... 📍Rathauspark W (1010 Wien, Austria) I spent New Year's Eve 2020 in Vienna, Austria 🙂 Rathauspark W is home to a massive Christmas market in the winter! On December 31st, they host a New Year's Eve performance alongside the market! Many people gathered here to enjoy the performance, and when I heard they were all celebrating the New Year together, I went to join in the countdown. 🏃🏻‍♀️ Even though I arrived around 11 a.m., it was packed, as expected from a major year-end event. I can't breathe, and I have to keep opening the car windows to let the air in. To make the most of the cold weather, today we're going to the Christmas Market in Salzburg, Austria. ❄️⛄️ 🎄 If you're visiting Europe during December, you'll likely encounter Christmas markets. But be sure to check the hours, as each market closes differently, with most closing well before Christmas. 🎄🎄🎄 Recommended Food and Drinks: Don't Miss!!! - Gluehwein: Warm red wine to quench the cold. 🍷 - Eierlikör mit sahne: Egg liqueur served with whipped cream. 🥂 - Kartoffelrösti mit Apfelmus: French fries cut into wedges. Paired with apple sauce🥨 - Bratwurst im Brotchen, bread and sausage, absolutely delicious🌭 - Finally, today I tried the venison salami, which was quite tasty. Schönbrunn Palace (German: Schloss Schönbrunn [ʃøːnˈbʁʊn]; Central Bavarian: Schloss Scheenbrunn) was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, Vienna. The name Schönbrunn (meaning “beautiful spring”) has its roots in an artesian well from which water was consumed by the court. In 1569, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II purchased a large floodplain of the Wien river beneath a hill, situated between Meidling and Hietzing. The former owner, in 1548, had erected a mansion called Katterburg. The emperor ordered the area to be fenced and put game there such as pheasants, ducks, deer and boar, in order for it to serve as the court's recreational hunting ground. When I wore Thai clothes to travel in Europe Superstars prepare Thai clothes to wear while walking around cities during the European tour I bought a tour package to travel to Europe and went to the following countries: Switzerland-Liechtenstein-Auatria-Hungary-Slovakia-Czech Republic-Germany. I prepared only one Thai outfit to walk around the cities. In fact, I wore it for 3 days (2-3 hours per day). While traveling around the cities, many foreigners looked at me and smiled. Most of them just asked what country I was from. Is this a national costume? And complimented me that the costume was beautiful. There were both foreigners and Thais who were traveling and asked to take pictures. The Thais asked if I was wearing a Thai costume. I just answered that there was no show.
