💞Recommended reasons:
I took the opportunity to visit #Saitama Prefecture during my business trip. The "#Tobu Animal Park" in Saitama Prefecture is a comprehensive amusement facility that combines an amusement park, a zoo, and a summer water park. It is operated by the Tobu Group, Japan's oldest private railway operator.
Transportation Tips: From Tokyo, you can take the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line from Shibuya or Oshiage (Tokyo Skytree) to Tobu Zoological Park Station. The fastest way to get there from Shibuya Station is 76 minutes. After arriving at the Tobu Zoological Park station, walk toward the west exit and walk about 10 minutes.
The zoo ticket alone costs 1,900 yen for adults. Together with the amusement park and water park, it covers an area of about 61 hectares. It would take a whole day to play there, so we only visited the zoo this time. Because the park is long and narrow, you can take a Tuk Tuk from the entrance to the innermost part and then slowly walk back. There are about 120 species of animals in the park, including rare #white tigers, Hokkaido brown bears, penguins, capybaras, Malayan tapirs, etc. Visitors will not be too far away from the animals and can watch them up close, which is very suitable for parent-child travel. What’s special is the world’s first “Firefly Viewing Hall”, but unfortunately you can’t take photos there.
Speaking of the star animals at Tobu Zoo, the white tiger is not "albino", but due to a gene mutation, the orange-yellow background with black stripes turns into a white background with black stripes. There are only 250 white tigers in the world, and only 30 in Japan. It is a rare species that can only be raised. In addition, animals that are smaller or more docile can be fed at close range. I also didn’t expect that the park would have animal shows and even animal parades on holidays. It is a zoo that the whole family can visit together.
