📍Sekinoo Falls/Sekinoo Park 🌟I was able to walk from the parking lot to the falls without any steep slopes. The sidewalk is well-maintained to the point where the falls can be seen, so even a wheelchair could go. The suspension bridge wobbles a little, but it is stable and wide enough to cross. It feels great to see the water splashing at you. If you turn your back to the falls and look at the river surface right in the middle of the suspension bridge, you will see a heart-shaped moss-covered rock. After bathing in negative ions, you can eat delicious food at the newly opened cafe and restaurant. One of our favorite spots in Miyazaki, Southern Kyushu - Takachiho Ranch💓💓💓 Here you can get close to cows, sheep and horses. For those of us living in the city, it is a great experience of nature! The animals are very cute and well-behaved 😛 The scenery of Takachiho Ranch itself is also beautiful and fascinating. The vast grassland makes people forget their worries and feel refreshed. There is also free milking experience on Saturdays and Sundays, but it’s a pity that I missed it this time. Of course you have to drink a bottle of ranch milk when you come here. Although it is available in supermarkets, the milk you drink at the ranch is the freshest and tastes the best😌A must try☺️ The transportation to the ranch is very convenient. You can take the Takasaki bus of Miyazaki Kotsu from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and arrive at Takachiho Ranch in 7 minutes. I drove from Miyakonojo Station and stopped off at Roadside Station Miyakonojo NiQLL during my trip. The store reopened in April 2023, making it spacious and bright. The first thing that caught my eye were the ripe mangoes from Miyazaki Prefecture. It felt like a luxurious experience, so typical of Miyazaki. Even more impressive was the shochu section. I was amazed at the sheer variety, with a lineup of Miyazaki's signature shochu, including Kuro Kirishima. Being able to sample a variety of local flavors all in one place is a delight for any traveler. With a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, processed foods, and sweets, it felt like I was experiencing Miyazaki's culinary culture just by shopping. Yakiniku Mihiro (Miyakonojo) My favorite yakiniku restaurant that I always go to when I go to Miyazaki. You can enjoy high-quality A5 Miyazaki beef! 🐃 Although it is a yakiniku restaurant, I really recommend the sukiyaki. The balance of fat and lean meat is perfect. There are many cherry trees in the park, and the sight of cherry blossoms in full bloom spreading all over the place was truly overwhelming. Walking leisurely and enjoying the cherry blossom petals falling in the air was truly relaxing. I also recommend laying out a picnic sheet, spreading out your lunch, and relaxing.
