[Fukushima] Experience Japan's great nature and legends in Hieida Village
Hiedaga Village
A mountain village in Fukushima Prefecture, with a population of about 500 people, located in a valley surrounded by the great nature of Oze.
As it is a highland area surrounded by mountains at an altitude of nearly 1000m, it is a cool summer resort in the summer, and in the winter, it becomes a hot spring resort with steamy waters, where you can experience the atmosphere of a journey in a snowy country.
"Hiedaga Kabuki" has been traditionally passed down by the villagers since the late Edo period, and the "Hiedaga Stage", where it is shown, was designated an Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan in 1976!
Kabuki is still shown on designated days, so why not try sightseeing at the same time?
