We had the absolute pleasure of spending our first night in Newcastle time travelling! And by that we mean staying in a beautiful retro style place🏠 The family who owned the place call it the "Atomic Hideaway", and are lovely people. They helped us to settle in when Mummy was a little tired and made a mistake. They clearly worked so hard to make their little resort what it is, and still work hard to maintain it! Very impressive!🌠 Mummy mostly loves 70s related things because she's such a huge fan of ABBA, and she mentioned one of the old phones as reminding her of the type of phone they'd use!☎️ We highly recommend the Atomic Hideaway for anyone who loves to go back in time and stay in an authentic 70s style home! One side of the trail overlooks the city, while the other side overlooks the sea. [Five] Bar Beach From the Memorial Walk, you can walk down to Bar Beach. I think this beach is more beautiful than Newcastle Beach, with fewer people, making it perfect for relaxing and taking photos. [Six] Merewether Beach I think this is the most beautiful beach in Newcastle. You can reach it by walking along Bar Beach. There is a natural bath and a Merewether Surfhouse, where you can sit upstairs in the restaurant, have a coffee, enjoy brunch, and experience a first-class dining experience with beautiful sea views. [Seven] Newcastle Museum This museum is located on the harbor side of the city center and features a dynamic interactive exhibition hall.

Newcastle, Australia, is perfect for a day trip near Sydney! The sea is really clear, and there are so many sights to see that you can spend a fulfilling day! The pool near the beach is my favorite. Personally, I think it's even prettier than the most famous pool in Sydney. The sunset is also truly fantastic!

Believe that Newcastle is no stranger to everyone. This city has a very long history and is famous for coal production. For tourists, it has multiple beaches, among which Bar Beach is very popular among locals. The sea water here is very blue, the wind is strong, and the waves are also very big. Local people like to surf here, and brave people also swim in the sea. Unlike domestic beaches with dedicated guards, there are not many people on the beach here, but the road is full of parked cars, after all, this coastline is very long. Departing from Sydney, it takes about three hours to drive to Newcastle. Bar Beach is free to access and the parking lot is also free. Nearby restaurants, bars, and large shopping malls can keep you entertained. Everything is very convenient. If you have a lot of free time, you can leisurely spend a few days here and relax. I haven't seen any tourist buses here, so it's probably not a tourist attraction.

This is the cafe where we went to have breakfast at after spending the night at the Lucky Hotel. It's called Neighbours and it's very artistic to look at🪞 After mummy took some photos we sat down. We were a little bit spoilt for choice with so many options! Last night we were in Newcastle to see the Mamma Mia musical (which was fabulous, though no one holds a candle to the original ladies of ABBA!👱🏻♀️👩🏻🦰), and we stayed at the Lucky Hotel, which is walking distance from the Civic Theatre where the musical was performed🏨 It is a fantastic hotel to stay in, very cosy and the interiors are not to be missed - it's very 70s for the most part, which was fitting considering the show - and there's a garden area as well which looks very pretty🪴 As a bonus, the Lucky Hotel is literally around the corner from Napoli Centro, the BEST pizzeria in all of Newcastle! Mummy ordered a pizza and brought it to the hotel for all of us to eat before the show, all in only 15-20 mins max!🍕 So The Lucky Hotel is highly recommended by us for all that, plus more! The convenience of the light rail stop at the door and that you get given a voucher for the local cafe where you get 10% off your breakfast! Fun day trip up to Newcastle from Sydney! Went via train both ways and managed to have a great and relaxing time 💜 The staff at the East End Ice Creamery were super lovely and the ice cream was pretty good! would recommend 💜 also took a couple trips on the ferry to end my day, great water views 💜

Quiet music flowed, and it created a space where conversations could take place without speaking. The cocktails made by the bartender's skillful hands were awe-inspiring both with the eyes and the mouth, and even the moment I lifted my glass felt special. Outside the window, the streets of Newcastle flowed, and inside, the warmth of the quiet, warm people spread, making it an atmosphere where we could share quietly.
