Guangxi Mengshan Daoyi Ancient Residence.
During the Qing Dynasty, Daoyi Village produced a very famous folk boxer, Wei Zhuping, who left a residence symbolizing the martial arts forever in the rivers and lakes, and unswervingly "discussing the road" chivalrous spirit. Wei Zhuping's former residence was built in the 27th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1901), and it is the only well-preserved residential building in the Guangxu period in Mengshan County. The former residence is a whole structure, divided into two parts, each with one hall and two rooms. There are left and right corridors between the front and back seats, forming a quadrangle. The main building is a hard mountain top, a small blue tile roof, a blue wall, and a wall on the wall; the ear room and the horizontal room are mixed with blue bricks and mud bricks, and there is a existing turret. The main body of the building and the outer walls of the turret are equipped with gun-eye observation ports; the front eaves of the head are equipped with colored flowers and birds, and the ash sculptures; the remaining inner eaves walls and gable walls are painted with exquisite landscapes, flowers and birds, and calligraphy and painting patterns; The carved eaves, carved and painted beams and other wooden components are exquisitely carved. The house has blue brick walls and tile wooden roofs, which are extremely strong. Although they have been around for a hundred years, they are still not damaged. Under the eaves of the front hall of the house, there are 5 wood-carved flowers and birds, with various styles; there are 7 clay sculptures of animal patterns, and more than 20 animals such as birds, lions, deer, and rhinos are sculpted; the images are lifelike and lifelike. In addition, the hall paintings also have various calligraphy and landscape paintings. There is a 3-square-meter landscape bird mural on each side of the wall under the main beam of the back seat hall, and the patio corridor has a hand-made flower door and a carefully carved chrysanthemum door. The entire building has high artistic and cultural relic value. It is now a cultural relic protection unit in Mengshan County.
