Camp Phillips, Manolo Fortich, Province of Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines Camp Phillips was set up right after Del Monte started its operations in Manolo Fortich town in Bukidnon in 1926. At a nearby airfield in Barangay Dicklum was where Gen. Douglas MacArthur, his family and staff made their dramatic escape on board a B17 “flying fortress” plane to Australia on March 17, 1942.

Getting There - 45 mins - 1 hour from the city proper. You can ride by a van or your own private car. Attractions - The park itself Hotels - The park also provide lodges inside the premises and there are also little lodges right outside. Food & Restaurants - The park also has a restaurant inside perfect for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Shopping - Souvenir shops are located inside as well. We always stay overnight once very year because we just love the environment. It’s really relaxing and gives off a home away from home vibes. You can really get one with nature because it’s surrounded by trees and flowers. There are also rides you can enjoy.

When I was a kid I used to spend my summer in this place. Dahilayan Forest Park is a family getaway! We usually visit this place over Christmas Holiday. A simple hot coffee/choco + few kakanin with life updates and sharing future plans is our usual thing. The photo above was taken years back when we decided to go to Dahilayan with my Family and Friends. We spent the day there hanging out, chillin' and just simple talking without gadgets and social media. 🇵🇭｜Cagayan Dahilayan is like a little Switzerland. The building looks amazing from the entrance. The view behind the dining table is stunning. After staying in the city for a long time, I really long for such natural scenery. All my worries disappear when I look at the view. This is a restaurant located in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, 1 hour's drive from the city center. It's a great place to relax and unwind for a whole day. I was deeply impressed by the place. If you're tired of the city or the island, I highly recommend you come here. It's a completely different experience! The environment is so beautiful. There are almost no Chinese tourists. It was Mama, Achi, Jae and Wayne’s first time while me and Rushel is on our nth time already. During this visit we opted to go overnight however they are fully booked so we just decided to take some rides and early dinner as we have no choice but to go home right away. What a joy to bring them here, to experience this with them is truly amazing. Indeed God has been so faithful and thoughtful all through out year 2023. Excited for 2024 with these constants.
