🇹🇭Kerchor Elephant Conservation Park, Chiang Mai, Thailand🐘✨An elephant-friendly environment without forcing
#AprilGoodDestinations2025
This time we went to Kerchor Elephant Park in the suburbs of Chiang Mai.
Buy a half-day trip. It takes about 1 hour from the ancient city to the destination.
Once you arrive, the staff will give you clothes to change into. There are also lockers for you to put your things.
Next, we will explain some little knowledge about elephants and everyone can get a bucket of snacks to interact with the elephants
The elephants are super cute. I was a little scared at first, but they are actually very friendly. The elephant handlers will also guide you to interact with the elephants.
You can touch the elephants and baby elephants, but you can't feed the baby elephants. Please be careful.
The staff are very friendly and will help take photos.
The next step is to walk with the elephants in the forest and observe their daily life.
There are big trees in the woods to provide shade and it won't be too hot. It feels very comfortable to be close to nature.
Finally, we rinsed the elephants and took a bath with them.
The elephant handlers will also check the elephants' condition and will not force them into the water. I think that's great💗
The staff can speak English and Chinese, so you don't have to worry about language problems. They are happy to answer any questions you have.

Chasing cherry blossom at Doi Inthanon 🌸
Who thought one of the places to find cherry blossom is at the highest mountain in Thailand? Normally cherry blossom viewing is organised by a tour group but instead of joining them I chose to rent a car instead to save cost.
The journey took almost 3 hours ride from our hotel in Chiang Mai and we arrived quite early but there is literally nobody waiting at the entrance so we paid 0 entrance fee bcs the cherry blossom season has ended so lucky us? 😅
We arrived at the end of January early Feb but I can say peak bloom is definitely in the mid of January. The flower is still there but it is wilting.
The exact location is Mae Win,Mae Wang, Chiang Mai Municipality, Chiang Mai Province and you can search google map here https://maps.app.goo.gl/2gbHVHQxxY9TsyTV6

Wat Luang Khun Win, over 700 years old
#NewYearNewTrip
Wat Luang Khun Win is located in Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai Province. It is an ancient temple that is over 700 years old, hidden in the middle of the forest, creating a shady and peaceful atmosphere, suitable for those who want to find peace and experience nature. This temple is famous for its beautiful ancient Lanna architecture, with an intricately carved chapel and Buddha statues, combined with the lush greenery of the forest, giving the temple a peaceful and inviting atmosphere.
Getting there:
Traveling to Wat Luang Khun Win is quite challenging, as it is located in the middle of the forest and the path is quite steep and winding. Those who want to visit should use a car with good performance and should check the weather conditions before traveling for safety.
Interesting activities:
-See ancient Lanna architecture
-Hike and experience nature
-Meditation and making merit in a peaceful atmosphere
For those interested in visiting Wat Luang Khun Win, you should prepare and plan your trip carefully, as the route is quite challenging. For those who do not want to drive up the mountain, it is recommended to hire a car with a driver. However, the beauty and tranquility of this temple will be a worthwhile experience. For anyone visiting Chiang Mai, I recommend it.

Khun Wang Sakura Bridge, Doi Inthanon🌸💘
#tripflyingtoprayfornewyear
🌸Khunwangsakurabridge is located next to the Inthanon Lady Slipper Orchid Conservation Project under the royal initiative in the northern region (Doi Inthanon), about 4 kilometers away.
💘There is an entrance fee of 40 baht per person, but I assure you that it is definitely worth it because there are a lot of blooming Himalayan cherry blossoms here. You can choose a photo spot. There are so many angles. If you are looking for Thai cherry blossoms, we recommend this place. You can also pitch a tent, but we really don't know the price.

Let's hunt for Thai Sakura at Sakura Tunnel 🌸
At the beginning of the year, the weather is cold like this. It's time to go up north.
And during this period, many places in the North are blooming with the Himalayan cherry blossoms.
It's time for everyone to prepare to hunt for Thai cherry blossoms.
Actually, the Himalayan cherry blossoms 🌸 are in many places.
In this picture, we went to the "Sakura Tunnel". It's very beautiful.
It's a pink tunnel with cool weather. It's fun to walk and take pictures.
Free admission. Parking is 20 baht!

Sakura Khun Wang Bridge
Sakura Bridge Khun Wang is located on the same route as the viewpoint of the Himalayan cherry blossoms at the Khun Wang Royal Agricultural Research Station. It is located first. The highlight is the garden decoration that has a Japanese atmosphere. There is a wooden bridge crossing the stream among the pink Himalayan cherry blossoms. There are also photo spots at various points, both the viewing terrace and the flower garden on the hill, where you can see the two limestone rocks of Pha Song Ru Du standing tall as a backdrop.

Wat Luang Khun Win, Chiang Mai
Wat Luang Khun Win, a beautiful and ancient temple in Chiang Mai, in the middle of the forest, magnificent wood art, extremely unseen
The history of this temple is that it is said that the Lord Buddha once visited the area where Wat Luang Khun Win is located. It is said that there were two Lawa people, Khun Sap and Khun Sa Meuang, who asked for hair relics. The Lord Buddha granted them and built a pagoda to cover it on a low peak called Phra That Mon Pia.
Highlights of Wat Luang Khun Win
However, because Wat Luang Khun Win is a temple far from the community, there is no electricity, only solar power, and there is no good road to the temple, making it difficult to access. Therefore, there are not many tourists traveling here. However, there are many beautiful buildings inside the temple, such as the standing Buddha chapel (the glass walking meditation posture), the reclining Buddha chapel (the parinirvana posture), which is a carved wooden Buddha statue, and the Naga stairs, etc.
Wat Luang Khun Win, Chiang Mai
Address: Don Pao Subdistrict, Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai Province

Wat Luang Khun Win, a beautiful temple in a big forest
If anyone goes to Chiang Mai, we would like to recommend everyone to go here.
This place is called Wat Luang Khun Win, located in Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai Province.
It is a 700-year-old temple located in the middle of a large forest.
We do not know much about the temple. When we went, we saw it from the pictures and wanted to see it with our own eyes at least once.
The place inside the temple is shady and very clean. The Reclining Buddha and Standing Buddha shrines are beautifully decorated. The wood carvings are intricate. The Naga stairs are so beautiful that you have to stop and take pictures.
How to get there
If you have a large car, you can drive up by yourself, but you have to be quite skilled at driving.
As for sedans, you should not drive up. The road is steep, gravel, and has rocky and muddy ruts almost the entire way.

Wat Luang Khun Win, Chiang Mai
The most brutal road but in a very natural mode. A temple in the middle of a forest in a valley that is quiet, suitable for everyone to come and make merit, travel, very beautiful, worth the trip. The temple is made of wood, beautifully dazzling, the forest is very lush, the temple is peaceful, the temple is in Lanna style, giving a retro feel. As for the reclining Buddha chapel and the standing Buddha chapel, they are made of wood, very beautifully carved. Went on a rainy day, this road is a bit difficult to go up if you are not skilled at driving up a rough, steep mountain road. I recommend using a songthaew. #VisitChiangMai

It covers an area of 300 rai, 200 rai of which are used for planting forests and nothing else. The rest will be gradually developed into a shelter for cats.

Unseen Chiang Mai: Wat Luang Khun Win, a 700-year-old temple
Unseen Chiang Mai, an ancient temple over 700 years old 🙏🏻
Wat Luang Khun Win, Khun Wang District, a beautiful temple in the middle of a large forest
No electricity, quiet atmosphere🌳Cool weather
Beautiful from the entrance, Naga stairs, with steps
Each step is like a Naga scale, but each step is
differently high. When you walk up, you will find a pagoda containing
Hair relics of the Lord Buddha
And the highlight of the temple, two wooden chapels
It is a standing Buddha chapel (Glass Walk posture) carved
From a single large tree, 9 meters high
And a reclining Buddha chapel (Parinibbana posture) which is
A beautiful carved wooden Buddha statue from every angle, from
The door of the chapel to the reclining Buddha. The beauty
In the Lanna style🌿✨ The lights used in the temple use
Solar cells.
✅ Travel Recommend pinning Wat Sop Win
Mae Wang District and wait in line for a 4x4 car or come with many people
Round trip for only 800 baht, I highly recommend it.
Because some parts of the road up are narrow and difficult to pass each other.
Most importantly, it is best to come from Chiang Mai city.
Like me, I came from Samoeng, Mon Cham. Google Maps
It is very difficult to find the way there. Even driving an SUV is still difficult.
This route is extremely brutal. If you go on a dirt road, your car will break down.
It is not worth it. Only 4WD.
📌 Wat Luang Khun Win
✅ Opening and closing hours: 8:00-17:00 (Do not
return too late. The road is difficult to drive. If after 5 p.m.
Don't forget to close the temple entrance.

Rafting on Pa Tae Mae Wang River, Chiang Mai
19/4/2023
Rent a red car for a morning and evening trip for 1,000 baht 🚘
Traveling from Maya takes about 1 hour, about 40-50 kilometers.
A raft can seat 4 people, the price is 400 baht per raft, about 100 baht per person because there are 7 of us. It is recommended to eat before coming. When you arrive, they will take you to the rafting point. 🚣🚣♂️🚣♀️
As you continue rafting, there will be many things to sell along the way. There are many points all the time. There are som tam, grilled chicken, drinks, various types of buckwheat, sausages, meatballs. It is recommended to rent a bucket to put things in. 🍢🍺🥤🍽️
When I went, I arrived at 11:00 a.m. It took about 2 hours to raft. It may seem like a short distance, but when rafting, it will take a little longer. There is just a guide to guide you, but I'm not sure how much it costs.
It was so much fun. There were cows and elephants around. The water was cold. I really want everyone to try it in April. It's really fun. I was so engrossed that I forgot to take a picture 😂
P.S. Don't forget to bring a hat and a waterproof bag (they're available for sale).

Invite to see the wild Himalayan cherry blossoms at Khun Wang, Chiang Mai.
#Winter travel destinations that I must say are very cute. Let's go see the wild Himalayan cherry blossoms at the Royal Agricultural Research Center, Khun Wang. The atmosphere is nice and the air is fresh. But when we went, the flowers were blooming very little. But it was still a very good experience.

Once upon a time at Baan Lan Dao, Chiang Mai ✨️
#WinterTravel This winter, let's stay at Baan Lan Dao Mae Wang, Chiang Mai. The first time we went, I must say that I was very excited because the resort just opened. Using Google to navigate was exciting. On top of that, there was a rainy night and the surrounding forest. It was a great and fun experience. ☁️
.
The morning mist is really nice. The bed here is very cute. The white mosquito net is stylish. It's perfect for a sweet girl like me. The food is also varied. But another thing that impressed me is the natural room. It's open upstairs. It's a bit embarrassing. It feels like wow. You're really taking a shower with nature. 😊✨️

Two Seasons Cliff, Khun Wang
Recommended to go in late December to early January. The weather is great. For those who have experienced bad things, I recommend you to try it. The steepness will make you forget about the bad things in the past for a while. Take a deep breath of oxygen and move forward. ✌️Note: You can walk up by yourself easily. The path is not very steep. Up and down about 8 kilometers. The path is quite steep but clear. In January, you will see red thousand-year roses all over the mountaintop.
