Ancient British aristocratic manor house
Lyme Park, a 1,300-acre aristocratic estate and the setting for Pride and Prejudice. There are multiple rooms in the mansion, each of which is magnificent, and the furnishings and decorations are carefully picked. Each room has staff who will be friendly and proactive in introducing the history and characteristics of the place.
After touring the mansion and gardens, walk to The Cage on the top of the hill, once used as an ancient hunting lodge, lookout, and prison. The children ran along to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the scenery around them. If you’re lucky, you’ll even see a deer!
