I recently visited Luoyuan in Fuzhou and stayed at an amazing hotel, the Fuzhou Luoyuan SIJ Garden Hotel, a new establishment by SIJ Business Management Group. The brand originated with a focus on deep sleep, and for many years has been striving to enhance the sleep experience for travelers. On the day I checked in, I happened to catch a small cultural event being held at the hotel. The staff invited me to participate, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We made handicrafts and tasted local delicacies together, and as an outsider, I felt a strong sense of warmth and hospitality. At that moment, I was no longer just a passerby, but felt like I had joined a big family. When I returned to my room in the evening to rest, I was truly amazed. The temple appears to have been recently renovated, with vibrant exterior walls. Inside the temple, the character for "Buddha" is designed as a child worshipping Guanyin, showing clever design. The mangrove forest gradually emerges from the water, and small fish and crabs occasionally appear in the mudflats and shallow water below. Egrets fly over the water, and small fishing boats float on the shore, creating a peaceful and tranquil scene. Climb to the Hongxing Pavilion in the nearby Xunyu Red Theme Park, and from the Sanma Benteng viewing platform, you can overlook the mangrove forest from a wider perspective. ⛰️A great place to visit during the Lunar New Year holiday: Luoyuan She Mountain Water Scenic Area ⏰About 2 hours' drive from Fuzhou 💰Tickets can be purchased on Trip.com: CNY 36 for adults, CNY 20 for discounted tickets 🚗The last 20 km (about 40 mins) to the scenic area is mostly winding mountain roads. The roads are narrow, so if you're driving a large vehicle, remember to slow down and give way to other vehicles on the bends. 🌟When we arrived, we found that the scenic area was in the dry season. Waterfalls are best visited after the Qingming Festival, when they are more spectacular. However, the advantage of visiting in the dry season is that there are fewer people. We had the whole scenic area to ourselves. Although there were no rushing waterfalls, the pools in the scenic area were as green as those in Jiuzhaigou, and the air was fresh. 🥖As a foodie, I can't go anywhere without food. As shown in the last three pictures, there is a Shequan Teahouse about 25 minutes' walk from the entrance. There is a long corridor at the entrance.
