Lumbini is birthday place of Gautam Buddha . it’s a one of the most popular place in Nepal 🇳🇵. there are different types of temple . environment was peace ☮️ and I liked Nepalese people and Buddhist environment. Lumbini located in the Terai plains of southern Nepal 🇳🇵 Lumbini is one of the holiest places of one of the world's great religions, and its remains contain important evidence about the nature of Buddhist pilgrimage . I think every person must visit Lumbini at once because it’s a birth place of lord Gautam Buddha . who is very famous in the world . we enjoy ye a lot and it’s your turn to enjoy with Lumbini Buddhist environment. thank you 😊

The world Peace Pagoda or Shanti Stupa in Pokhara is the best viewpoint I've ever walked too. Picture 3 does absolutely no service to the stunning view. Mountains on top of mountains, a glass like lake and the settlements in between. Getting to the top was a fun hike, we walked from the city centre around to the back of the mountain and followed the trails and any signs we could find. Once we go to the top we were surprised to find a coupe local restaurants selling 'momo' and coffee which we were strong. We went to the Pagoda which is a silent zone and just sat untill the sunset taking in the spectacular views. Note: When the sun sets in Pokhara temperature plummets and it gets very dark very fast. So as we were not dressed for the cold or the dark we came down the mountain fairly quickly and found a taxi stand at the base of the mountain on the back side.

A different culture with different food and very nice people. It may be very hot but that won‘t stop you fron seeing all the parks and temples! Take a translator with you!

I recommend travelling solo to Lumbini if you truly want to have Siddarths experience. Just let go of your fears and stress. I cant comprehend how people come in groups and end up taking hundreds of photos in hundred poses and rush back to their hotels or buses. Buddha’s first lecture is also known as the first turning of the wheel. Shortly after attaining enlightenment in Bodhgaya, he travelled to Varanasi, the holy city on the Ganges. There he spoke in a deer park to a small group of people. It is therefore not surprising that deer are often depicted flanking the wheel! This first lesson that he gave set the wheel, which symbolizes the dharma teachings, in motion. The audience from the deer park became his first followers and the first members of the monastic community. He circle in Buddhism symbolizes the perfection of the Dharma teachings. Buddha used the Wheel of Dharma to spread his teachings. The eight spokes – symbolizing the eight lessons of life – lead the way to the centre of the wheel, the axle. This is the only part of the wheel that stands still, yet at the same time it is what connects to the rest of the wheel as a whole. Lumbini has a number of older temples, including the Mayadevi Temple, and various new temples, funded by Buddhist organisations from various countries, have been completed or are still under construction. Many monuments, monasteries and a museum, and the Lumbini International Research Institute are also within the holy site. Also, there is the Puskarini, or Holy Pond, where the Buddha's mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he had his first bath. At other sites near Lumbini, earlier Buddhas were, according to tradition, born, then achieved ultimate Enlightenment and finally relinquished their earthly forms.
