The small city of Longquan, located an hour away from Lishui has this beautiful Monastery on top of a mountain. It's so peaceful and quiet as you go up the mountain. One is allowed to go into the Monastery grounds from 8:00-11:00 and from 14:00-17:00. The Monastery has a beautiful pagoda that lights up at night. This glass bridge is situated in Longquan, Lishui, Zhejiang Province. Leading up to the glass Bridge is and old village and an ancient tree. Down the mountain you could find yourself surrounded by nature, beautiful walkways, waterfalls and dolomites. This is a very peaceful area. We had to pay a fee to go onto the glass Bridge obviously but it was worth it. We had some amazing views with clear skies. Be sure to bring/or buy something to drink and to snack before you go down the mountain as your in between nature and no one selling drinks and snacks down the mountain. I loved the sound of the water as we went down the mountain. There is even a barbecue area. You can really make it a day outing with the whole family.
