2025 Lofoten Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in May)

Norway's Lofoten Islands are scattered in the Norwegian Sea. It has many classic hiking routes. The first highlight is Reinebringen near Reine, which is about 450 meters high. Although it is not high, the steep mountain walls rise almost in a straight line. We hardly took a rest. In order to see the beauty of the fjord, we climbed up non-stop. Although we were panting, we still reached the top and had a bird's eye view of the magnificent fjord and the blue-green water. It was quite worth it! After I got down the mountain, I was shocked to find that my phone screen protector and lens case had been chipped and scratched by the steep stone steps!

One of the most captivating displays of Mother Nature I've ever seen in my life! There was no time to waste. I pulled up on the beach as gorgeous green, purple and orange ribbons of light danced across the night sky. Beautiful.

🚢There are two cruise companies: Hurtigruten & Havila, they take turns sailing every day, the day I booked was Havila✅ 1️⃣ Hurtigruten: Booking in Norwegian on the official website is at least 2-3 times cheaper than booking in English 2️⃣ Havila: There is no difference in price between English and Norwegian bookings. The interior environment is newer than Hurtigruten. You can order meals together with the room booking. As a result, I asked the lady when I checked in and it was successfully upgraded (+nok1200) I'm happy🥳 (Pictures 3-5) 💞Because we didn’t arrive in Svolvaer until 6:30pm the next day, the lady helped us to delay the check-out until 3pm, which was really great. Don’t be shy to ask more questions! No, it doesn't matter. 🛜There is free wifi in the room, turn on the TV to check the password 🎆Turn on the aurora notification on the landline phone (Figure 6). If there is an aurora, there will be a broadcast. However, because I went to bed at around 2 a.m. that night, I remember there was a broadcast in the middle of the night, but I was too sleepy to hear clearly what it said, so I didn't get up to watch it, and I don't know if there was an aurora that night. 💞There are cafes, souvenir shops, restaurants, and viewing areas on the 6th floor. The cafe provides bread, light meals, coffee, and drinks. They also sell goat milk ice cream, which feels very special. I bought it to try. It was so sexy that it sent me to heaven [cover my face R] 💞The bar on the 7th floor deck is open in the afternoon and sells freshly made brown cheese pancakes (42kr) (Picture 7) The hot and fragrant pancakes are spread with cream and two slices of brown cheese, super delicious! Later, when I wanted to order another one at around 5 o'clock, it was closed. So I bought a pancake from the cafe on the sixth floor, but it was not freshly made. It was cold and there was no brown cheese, but it was sold at the same price. 💞The view from the 9th floor deck is superb and spectacular.
