11 Feb 2024 The water color was a real amazing blue! This place needs a true intention to visit, since it is located deep in Li district, Lampun province in northern Thailand. However, the pathway was in good condition and easy to walk to the waterfall. This waterfall is a part of Maeping National park which have many other spots you can travel for 2-3 days. The park officers were helpful. Please follow the National park's rule to keep the place clean and beautiful as long as we can.

Ko Luang Waterfall, Lamphun Province An emerald-blue waterfall in the middle of Mae Ping National Park, formed by Huai Mae Ko, flowing through a 20-meter-high limestone cliff, cascading down 7 levels, and finally falling into a large pool below. The path to Ko Luang Waterfall is through shady trees, about 500 meters away. The path is easy and comfortable. Before reaching Ko Luang Waterfall, there is Tad Sator Waterfall, a small limestone waterfall that is just as beautiful. Tad Sator Waterfall is on the same route as Ko Luang Waterfall, flowing parallel to the footpath and flowing down from a cliff about 15 meters high into an emerald-colored pool. Kaeng Ko is a beautiful lake area in Mae Ping National Park, Ko Subdistrict, Li District, Lamphun Province. It was created from the construction of Bhumibol Dam. Because after the dam was completed, the water flooded this area until it became a lake. It is water from the Mae Ko stream that flows into the Ping River.
