Day trip from London | Lacock Village in the Cotswolds
The honey-colored medieval streets of the Cotswolds are a fairy-tale-like worldview that attracts attention from women 🍯
There are many locations for Harry Potter, a masterpiece of the world, and it is very popular among enthusiasts 🤩
It would be a shame to give up on the Cotswolds because of the difficulty in access!! So, this time, I will introduce how to get to Lacock Village in the Cotswolds, which I actually visited on my own.
[Transferring trains and buses 🚌]
❶Start at London's Paddington Station. There is a bronze statue of Paddington Bear.
❷From Paddington Station to Chippenham Station. It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
❸Take the bus to the bus stop called "The George". It is the "34X" bus from bus stop 7 at Chippenham bus terminal.
The journey takes about 20 minutes.
By the way, the bus driver asked me if I wanted to ride the bus back, and when I said Yes, I was able to buy a round trip ticket.
It was 5.50 pounds.
❹ Get off at "The George" and turn left,
and you'll find yourself in a fairy tale world.
The main street of Lacock village is High Street.
Just past High Street is Lacock Abbey, famous for being a Harry Potter filming location.
In addition, the church that was the model for the church in Godric's Hollow and Harry's birthplace are also nearby.
⚠️ If you want to visit other villages in the Cotswolds,
it is recommended to leave London early in the morning as there are few buses.
You can find the timetable by searching Google Maps, so it's a good idea to check it in advance.
The time can be off overseas, but in the UK it was quite reliable and convenient.
Looking at it this way, doesn't it feel like you could go?
It would be a waste to give up on this wonderful opportunity, so please give it a try😆
