OVERWATER VILLA AT AVANI SEPANG GOLDCOAST RES
It is one of the places on my bucket list I want to do while staying in Malaysia. Located approximately 33 km or about 40 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), this resort often to be the last place for tourists to go before they leave the city. There are a few things you can do during your stay in Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort from relaxing to water sport activities. The resort offers free water sport activities such as kayaking and stand up paddle boarding to their in-house guests but please make sure to check the high and low tide timetable to get the right time for the water activities.Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort is a kid friendly resort. It has a swing in the park and some games that certainly kids will be happy to play. The resort also comes equipped with an infinity pool and gym that are suitable for those who want to maintain their shape during the vacation. Extreme park activities such as Paintball, ATV and Go-Karting are also available in this resort if you are looking for something a bit more adventurous.
Avani Sepang Goldcoast 🇲🇾
Located at the beach of Bagan Lalang Selangor, I chose to have my staycation here because the calm and comfortable atmosphere suits my needs.
Very friendly resort staffs and complete facilities make this place often visited by tourists. The atmosphere is like being abroad while enjoying the sea view only through the balcony of the room.
The food is delicious and has many options facing the infinity pool with the sea as a background very beautiful and exciting to experience.
If you have not been here yet, you should consider this place in your wishlist! 🥰

Morib Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Explore Morib Beach day and night
Morib Beach among the popular beach in Selangor located near Banting small town. It’s a good place to enjoy sunset while bbq and camping near the beach. Cycling along the beach and village also very great experience. Try it!
Sunset @ Morib Beach
Went here to see the sunset and fell so much love with the beautiful orange sky 😍
Decided to linger around for a while and while strolling across the food stalls, we chose one cafe which is Morib Cafe to have our dinner.
Ordered Siakap 3 Rasa, squid and prawn battered coatings with coconut milkshake to fill
our palette.
The food were so delicious and quite affordable as well. There was a live band and full of of kids playing and running around along the beach. The night was so lively.
To those staying near KL/Selangor, do drop by here to experience a new type of night life. Just waze/google to Pantai Morib and you will have a good time :)
Selangor’s Most Famous Beach - Morib Beach!
Getting There - google/waze Pantai Morib. the route will bring you along small villages and palm oil plantations. worth a view for a city girl like me 😆
Attractions - the well preserved beach and park suitable for family picnic and flying kite activities
Food & Restaurants - a lot of food stalls selling seafood fritters. the famous one was the crab fritters. 4 pcs crab per RM10 only! and of course, the famous dessert in any beaches in Malaysia, the ice cream cones 🤤
Went there during mid afternoon and was surprised to see how lively it was. Bet it would turn out merrier at late evening and night. Very suitable for family activities on weekends as you can bring children over to have a bath or just running around the beach area
Pantai Morib - Local Delight
Getting There - From Klang it took 35 minutes. If you want to experience village experience, get here through Pantai Kelanang
Attractions - Beautiful coastal scenery with lot of restaurants and stalls for dining.
Hotels - They have one nearby hotel (Santai Morib Hotel)
Food & Restaurants - Abundant of local meals and seafood.
Public Amenities - There is public toilet with small fee to use, as well as shower for after swimming bath.
A good place if you would like to have low cost vacation, and to let loose of your children as the park here is quite spacious and well preserved.
We really enjoy the time here!

Batu Caves Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Kuala Lumpur is a place that gets bombarded with questions, and it's a must-visit if you're here
Most people treat Kuala Lumpur as a transit city, but little do they know that these 7️⃣ spots in Kuala Lumpur are really photogenic, so don't miss out!
1️⃣Alva KL (Image 2)
Located on the 99th floor of Scott Star KLCC
An excellent spot to view the Twin Towers
㊙️The main thing is that it's really affordable, with main dishes averaging around 30+ per person, typical of good food at a good price, perfect for checking in, and the atmosphere instantly elevates your status!
2️⃣Batu Caves (Images 3.4.5)
If you like colorful things, then head straight to Batu Caves, where the rainbow 🌈 stairs are really, really photogenic. And if the weather is good, you can capture the sun shining through the entrance of the cave.
3️⃣Jalan Tunku Putra (Image 6)
This spot is not crowded, but it's also a great place to capture the Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur Tower.
4️⃣Rooftop of Lot 10 Shopping Centre (Images 7.8)
You can capture both the Kuala Lumpur Tower and the monorail 🚈 in the same frame, and there's also a lawn on the rooftop where you can take photos of people swinging with the Kuala Lumpur Tower in the background, and it's not too crowded.
5️⃣Putrajaya Pink Mosque (Images 9.10)
An absolutely beautiful pink fairy-tale castle 🏰, very photogenic. Inside, you can take pictures of the huge pink dome, and from across the river at keleb tasilk putrajaya, you can capture the full view of the pink mosque 🕌.
6️⃣Blue Mosque (Images 11.12.13.14)
The largest mosque in Malaysia, just as photogenic as the pink one, and comparatively less crowded.
7️⃣Opposite the Twin Towers intersection (Images 15.16)
Using a 0.5x wide-angle lens, you can capture long legs and the Twin Towers 🤫.
8️⃣Sleeping Lion Suites (Images 17.18)
Highly recommended hotel, the rooftop infinity pool is also really unbeatable, very photogenic, mainly because this hotel really has a high cost performance, just over 200, with an infinity pool on the rooftop, and a fitness area.
9️⃣Village Park Restaurant (Nasi Lemak)
The nasi lemak recommended by Hu Jing'an, all I can say is 'Baozi, go for it with your eyes closed.' This can be said to be the best nasi lemak I've had in Malaysia, bar none, mainly cheap and delicious, really too good.
Finally, what I want to say to everyone is, don't just focus on checking in and taking photos, stop and slow down, take a look at the scenery around you, then look at the people you're playing with, maybe the beauty around you is even more beautiful, respect🫡
Malaysia Visa-Free | 7 Days 6 Nights Off-the-Beaten-Path Itinerary Guide
Just got back from Malaysia, took an unusual off-the-beaten-path route, traveling north from Malacca to Penang, exploring and wandering along the way. Besides the cities with Southeast Asian charm, there was also the freedom of durian orchards. This visa-free country is really too tempting. Sharing a less-traveled route suitable for the whole family.
·
D1: Shanghai - Kuala Lumpur - Malacca
D2: Malacca - Broga Orchard Hill (Durian Orchard) - Kuala Lumpur
D3: Batu Caves - Ipoh Sunway Lost World of Tambun - Ipoh
D4: Ipoh - Taiping Lake Gardens - Kuala Kurau - Penang
D5: Penang Day Tour
D6: Penang - Kuala Lumpur
D7: Kuala Lumpur - Sepang HL Dragon Fruit Farm - Kuala Lumpur Airport - Shanghai
·
Penang:
Compared to Kuala Lumpur, I prefer the world heritage site of Penang, which features a mix of Southeast Asian, Muslim, Chinese, and Indian architecture. The strong cultural atmosphere, interesting graffiti in the alleys, and the dazzling markets are all reasons why I like this old city. Although there are quite a few Michelin-starred restaurants in Penang, I still recommend saving some room in your stomach for the night market snacks!
Malacca:
Also a world heritage site, Malacca is a bit more colorful. After visiting the Baba-Nyonya Heritage Museum, I finally understood the origins of the Peranakans and learned more about the history of Zheng He's voyages to the Western Seas.
Ipoh:
Malaysia's little Guilin, a small town in the mountains, with lots of delicious food. Saw a Malayan tapir at the Sunway Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh! So cute~
Must Eat Durian:
How can you come to Malaysia and not eat durian! The durians in Kuala Lumpur, the dragon fruits in Sepang, and the pomelos in Ipoh are all delicacies not to be missed~
Tips:
1. Malaysia is visa-free, with no time difference from China, and flights to Kuala Lumpur are very convenient.
2. There are super many wild animals, hornbills and monkeys can be seen in the parks. Please do not feed them randomly to protect the ecology.

Located just a few minutes walk from the Batu Caves KTM station, Batu Caves is known for the gigantic Lord Murugan statue and the colourful 272 steps up to the cave and temple.
There were not a lot of people when we went around 8am in the morning. The weather is also not so hot, making the climb a bit easier. The cave is quite big and you can go up further to access another area of the cave.
There are also a lot of monkeys around the bottom of the cave but quite a number of the monkeys climbed up when we were going down from the cave.
