Hey guys, I recently went to Tanjong Jara Resort in Malaysia, and it was a dreamy South Seas island vacation. I have to share it with you! 📍The location is superb. It's situated in Kuala Dungun, Terengganu, Malaysia, surrounded by tropical jungle. Just outside the door is a golden sandy beach and the South China Sea. The feeling of being surrounded by nature is wonderful. 🏡The hotel is like a 17th-century Malay palace, with a unique architectural style. There are various room types, including rooftop double rooms, double rooms with balconies, Bumbung rooms, and Serambi rooms. Each room is decorated in a warm and comfortable style. The facilities are complete, with balconies, patios, TVs, safes, air conditioning, and bathtubs, making for a very pleasant stay. 🍱The dining experience is also excellent! There are three restaurants. You can enjoy authentic Malaysian cuisine at Di Atas Sungei Restaurant. Don't miss the seafood, Western food, and local delicacies at Nelayan Restaurant. Every bite is delightful. 🎈There are plenty of leisure and entertainment facilities. Two outdoor swimming pools allow you to enjoy the embrace of the sun and water. The massage and body care services at Spa Village will instantly dispel your fatigue. The library, garden, bar, and fitness center can meet different leisure needs. You can also rent bicycles and inquire about tourist routes, which is super convenient. 📅Check in starts at 3pm, and check out is before 11am, which is very friendly for us tourists. Families with children don't have to worry either, as the child policy is very flexible. Children aged 11 and below can stay for free using existing bedding, and infants aged 2 and below can also use a crib for free. 🏄‍♀️There are also many fun things to do nearby. Dive and explore the coral reefs of Tenggol Island, participate in Malay village life experiences, visit batik and bamboo weaving artisans, and hike with a guide to Chemerong Waterfall. Each activity is full of surprises. This trip to Tanjong Jara Resort was truly perfect. You guys must come and experience it!

We had awesome week long stay at the Tanjong Jara Resort (TJR). We came with high expectations and happy to expressing that we really satisfied that TJR Team is went above and beyond. With the trademark to welcoming the guests upon arrival is the Malay Traditional gong will hitting thrice every time arrived. The refreshments drinks, serve light food i.e. Kueh Cara and with cool face towels was provided while waiting the check in process. These treat will definitely made our feeling amazed and felt like a VIP. During escorted by the senior members staff to our room, while in the working there are so many surprises and gestures of great facilities. The food at Di Atas Sungei Restaurant is authentic and delicious, the seafood is very fresh and trust the legendary Chef Ann to whip up her magic and keep you entertained and fed at the same time. The pool view very stunning and kids are enjoyed swim and played. Spa village provides great, relaxing treatments as attested by the queen and our princess. Love the private beach, the scenery so gorgeous and peaceful. Overall the hotel was done their best to make the stay as pleasant as possible. WE STAYED FOR 5 DAYS AT THIS BEAUTIFUL RESORT FACING A CRESCENT SHAPED BEACH WITH GOLDEN SAND AND SHADED BY TALL PALM TREES RUSTLING IN THE BREEZE WITH VIEWS OF THE TURQUOISE SEA. A YTL LUXURY RESORT Address - TANJONG JARA RESORT Batu 8, Off Jalan Dungun, 23000 Dungun, Terengganu, Malaysia Tanjong Jara Resort is a huge with lush of greenery and a long clean beach ,A Five Star resort where you can explore traditional Malay Culture in a luxury beach setting.it is perfect for staycation There are two swimming pools at the resort, a free-form pool near Teratai Terrace and the lobby, and another adjacent to the beach near Spa Village. Each pool has towels and deck chairs for sun lovers, and refreshments are served at the pool deck.

I love how Tanjung Jara resort’s design is very naturalistic, incorporating a lot of earthy colours and woody tones. It really makes you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city and can properly wind down. Service here is really good too as they are polite and approachable. Only issue is that some of the furniture is stained and peeling, but it’s minor enough to overlook. A perfect short escape at this hidden gem in Dungun, Terengganu. Tanjong Jara Resort is definitely a perfect place to unwind and relax as well as the right place to experience the malay culture activities. The resort provided numerous activities on daily basis (refer the schedule activities) such as, morning exercise, Yoga, Dungun town tour, traditional handcraft classes, batik painting, Jara Hill walk, movie under the star, bicycle tour, turtle education and a glimpse of kampung lifestyle activities where dikir barat being performed, malay traditional games such ‘gasing’ or top, kompang performance and many others. Worth the stay!

Recommended to those who want privacy and nature lover.Because this resort is isolated from others.If you want to find food somewhere else,it is 10minutes away to Bandar Dungun by car.There are plenty of shop.Most of the shop closed at 10pm.So you need to come early.I didn’t recommend for you guys to travel to Terengganu on Friday.Because it is compulsory for them to closed the shop during Friday Prayers(12:30pm-2:00pm approx)

#kualalumpurguide Fabulous small luxury hotel at Tanjong Jara, Dungun, Trengganu. Only 4 hours from KL, on good roads all the way. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens, on the beach. Local staff can’t help enough and made our stay really memorable with personalised service from every one. Our rooms were beautiful, spacious and included every facility we could have needed. One staircase is shared by 2 rooms, so it’s very private. Bathrooms were superb. We used the hotel water sports centre to arrange an enjoyable day of diving and snorkelling day on Pulau Tenggol. Games room was fantastic. You can hire bikes, play tennis, ping pong and pickleball. Local crafts are taught daily after lunch. The chefs and hotel manager are active in engaging every visitor at some point during their stay. Can’t recommend it enough, thank you for a lovely holiday.

Our little sightseeing trip in Dungun, Terengganu continued with a stop at Pantai Teluk Bidara. Thankfully, we found an empty parking spot right in front of the public toilet and surau, so we could park super close. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this beach… but the moment we arrived, I got super excited because the view was absolutely gorgeous! With perfect weather and a bright blue sky, the scenery looked even more stunning. The only slight downside was a bit of litter here and there — not too bad, though. I couldn’t wait to jump into the water even though the sun was blazing hot. Who cares if I get sunburnt, right? Haha. The beauty of the beach is enhanced by the rock formations and the hill at the far end. Underneath that hill, there’s a natural cave you can explore if the tide is low. But if it’s high tide, you need to be careful — you don’t want to get trapped inside. On the rocks, there are also natural “tidal pools” — small pools of seawater formed by the rocks. They’re perfect for just soaking and relaxing. We had so much fun hanging out in them, but you do have to watch the tide. Once the water rises, these pools can get deep pretty quickly, which can be dangerous if you can’t swim. #localguides

#summervacay Escape to Tenggol Coral Beach Resort, a hidden paradise nestled on the untouched shores of Tenggol Island. Surrounded by emerald waters and vibrant coral reefs, this island escape is a diver’s paradise—famous for unforgettable encounters with majestic whale sharks🐋 However, me and my friends didn’t have luck to witness the whale shark during our fundive🥲 I’ve completed my advance open water license at tenggol coral beach resort within 3days. The resort also serves 4 times of buffet meals with different of dishes every day😋 We chose dorm as our hostel and it has toilet inside the room! Total 6 person shared a dorm which is considered spacious for us! Water heater and air conditioner are provided as well.
