Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui High-End Japanese Cuisine
Sushi Wadatsunhi is a new restaurant opened by the entire team, led by Chef Ken. Today, the restaurant couldn't arrange for Chef Ken, so Chef Andy took charge instead. The ingredients were fresh, the sashimi's temperature was well-controlled, and the sushi rice had distinct grains with a balanced acidity that suited the palate. Although the chef's technique seemed a bit stiff, the overall experience was decent. Thanks to the boss for treating us, we immediately scheduled another visit to try Chef Ken's skills.
The set menu includes only ten pieces of sushi, but I added three more.
Having tried it before and found it good, I invited friends to come again. This time, we requested Chef Ken, but the experience felt similar to last time with Chef Andy. I noticed the sous chef looked familiar, and only recognized upon leaving that it was Chef Andy 😅. The quality of the dishes was consistently good this time as well, but without the boss's treat, I only added an anglerfish liver roll. My friend is allergic to shrimp and crab, so they substituted squid and oysters, which seemed equally delightful 😆. The restaurant staff were all very attentive, especially Manager Angie, who remained patient and accommodating even when I kept changing the number of guests. Truly appreciated 🙏🏻.
