Big White | A ski resort with few people and good skiing
| A ski resort with few people and good skiing. Big White Mountain is about a 5-hour drive from Vancouver in Kelowna, yes, the place where you drink red wine. When we went, the sun was shining and it wasn't very cold. And the scenery on the cable car is super beautiful, the town is also big, very good to stroll around, and you can ski in the village, and there are often song and dance activities, it can be said that the atmosphere is full.
❄Road conditions: The mountain road is very winding, with large sharp turns, about half an hour of mountain road, there is snow on the side of the road. But it is estimated that if you come when the snowfall is heavy in the peak season, it is recommended to use snow tires.
❄Ski trail: Big White Mountain has 118 ski trails, four bases, the least people on the far west side of Gem Lake, and it is also far from other bases. It is still recommended to go to Happy Valley Day Lodge, where you can ski more places, more importantly, you can take Laras Gondola for free (that is, the yellow cable car on the cover), overlooking the town scenery, the cabin is covered with thick snow, the streets are also snow, from time to time people slide past, it feels so dreamy. You can only get tickets at the Village Center, and go to various lift chairs and restaurants. It is recommended to take the Bullet Express, and then brush the nearby Sun Run, Sun Dance, Mille's Mile, etc., green and blue level. If you want to go to the top of the mountain, you can only take the T bar... from Highway 33 in the afternoon to the bottom of the T bar. This T bar is super long, four or five minutes, and very steep, single board penetration. The other is to take the Ridge Rocket Express to detour and go to the top of the mountain on the Falcon side.
