Tokyo Travel Diary|Day 1: Encountering Kamakura and Senso-ji Temple
"Tokyo, here I come!" As soon as I got off the plane, the air in Tokyo was filled with a unique freshness.
🌊 Kamakura is a blend of youth and romance. The Enoden train slowly passes by, taking me through the streets of this seaside town. Standing at the railroad crossing in front of Kamakura High School, scenes from the anime "Slam Dunk" keep flashing in my mind. The sun generously shines on the tracks and on the faces of every pilgrim who comes here. In the distance, the Shonan Beach, with its waves gently lapping the shore, offers a breathtaking view of the sea and sky. Here, time seems to slow down, and every breath is filled with the taste of youth.
🏯 Leaving Kamakura, I headed to Senso-ji Temple. As I stepped into the Thunder Gate, I saw the giant wind chime gently swaying in the wind, making a crisp sound. Walking along Nakamise Shopping Street, the shops on both sides are filled with exquisite Japanese paper crafts and delicious traditional snacks. Inside the temple, the air is filled with incense smoke, and people pray devoutly. Looking up, the five-story pagoda stands solemnly and majestically, striking against the blue sky and white clouds.
Today's first experience in Tokyo includes the youthful energy of Kamakura and the ancient sacredness of Senso-ji Temple. With the good weather and the Dazz camera FXN R filter, every photo I took turned out stunning. I look forward to the rest of the journey!"
