✨ Visiting Koh Tao is always a delightful experience. I fall in love with this place over and over again 🌊 No matter how many times I return, I always fall in love with it. It's one of the best places in the world for deep-sea diving. Koh Tao is another island that I highly recommend visiting. The sea is beautiful with its azure blue color, the water is clear, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The viewpoints are incredibly stunning, and there are plenty of cute cafes everywhere. Before heading to Koh Tao, we tried to join Facebook groups related to the island, gathering information and reading reviews. We stumbled upon a one-day tour called KOH TAO TOUR, which included both snorkeling and fishing. Typically, most tours focus solely on snorkeling at various spots, and if there's fishing, it's usually at night. Finding a tour that combines everything in one day is rare, so we didn't hesitate to contact them. - We went in February. There was a bit of rain, but the sea was beautiful. The captain suggested coming back in April, saying it's the best time. - The cost for 1-4 people was 8,000 THB. If more people join, it's an additional 1,000 THB per person. It's worth it if you go with a group. This price includes lunch and transportation to and from your accommodation. - The person who picked us up was the captain. We arranged to meet at 9:30 AM. We wanted to stop by 7-Eleven to buy snacks and drinks, and the captain kindly stopped for us. Very nice! - The first stop was Nang Yuan Island. The captain's assistant guided us to the viewpoint and took photos for us. The queue was long, and there were many tourists. I slipped once, but a fellow tourist helped me up. The waiting line had a great community spirit. - After that, we returned to the boat. The captain took us snorkeling to see turtles and take photos. There were many other snorkeling spots, but my partner and I were satisfied with this one. We wanted to spend the rest of the time fishing instead. The captain was flexible and accommodating, providing excellent assistance and advice. - The vast sea had many fish. We caught about five. The captain selected the appropriately sized fish to make sashimi for us, and we had pineapple as a dessert to help with seasickness. - The trip ended at 6:00 PM. We had the chance to see the sunset as the boat sailed back to shore. It was a beautiful end to the trip.

#thingstodo I have been to Koh Tao 4 times and stayed in 5 different resorts and I can honestly say that Blue Heaven offers the very best Koh Tao experience. My reason for holidaying in Koh Tao is to enjoy the beautiful natural setting, to experience the local culture and amazing food. Blue Heaven offers this in perfection. The first thing that will hit you when arriving are the amazing views across Aow Leuk Bay and out to Shark Island. This is the reception / restaurant / bar, a favourite place. The resort is at the top of a ridge in a natural setting amongst lush tropical foliage. There are 7 bungalows that are all very private and well appointed. The air conditioning is AMAZING, especially when it is a hot humid day. We stayed in one with a lovely balcony and open air bathroom (see photos) Even the bathroom had amazing views! We loved the restaurant and ended up eating dinner there 7 out of the 8 nights of our stay. The highlights on the menu were the soft shell crab, whole barramundi, Tom Yum & Tom Kah soups and the family favourite spicy pork mince dish. Soooo good. Blue Heaven is away from the hustle & bustle of Sairee Beach, which is only a short 10 minute ride by scooter away. If you get the chance, go to Blue Heaven, you will love it!! (Even if it just for a meal)

BLUE HEAVEN RESORT AND RESTUARANT 🌴🌊 This is a place that we really love. It's a bungalow style with only 7 rooms, tiered along the hillside. Too bad there's no drone to show the rooms from the outside (you can sponsor it 😂). It's really, really beautiful. Luckily, the day we went, the sky was clear, and we could see the sea view from our room as far as the eye could see. The water was turquoise mixed with emerald green, and the horizon reached the edge of the water. Most importantly, it was beautiful at all times, from sunrise to sunset. It was the best way to relax and heal your heart and escape the chaos once again. 🤍 Highly recommended! The food here is sooo delicious! Don't miss it! It was so delicious that we ate it two days in a row, especially the yellow curry with shrimp and cha-om. The taste was just right. It was so delicious, I don't know what to say. We booked a last minute trip to Koh Tao for some relaxing beach time and hopefully scuba diving. The diving didn’t get to happen due to some cloudy rainy days but we surely made the best of it. the resort was place perfectly for us to do as we pleased from beaching, to eating, to bar hopping and then just dancing the night away. Getting There - Shark Bay is a small hidden beach and is just a short drive from Chalok Bay. The drive there is stunning as it’s located on the top of a hill. It’s easy to miss it completely as there is only a very small sign. Attractions - Expect to walk down a steep path that should take about 5minutes. I only noticed bikes parked there so if you have a car, it might be best to read about parking before going here. Hotels - Ta To Seaview resort is nearby. Food & Restaurants - When you reach the beach, you’ll find a lively bar selling drinks. They encourage you not to bring your own drinks so make sure to support the bar if you do have your own drinks. Line up to board the SPEED BOAT at 9:00 a.m. Travel to Koh Nang Yuan to see the beauty of the separated sea, climb a mountain, enjoy a 360-degree view, relax, sit and sip a cold drink, then travel to Koh Tao, have lunch, take pictures on the beach. There is a turtle picture on this island. Then travel to snorkel and see coral at Ao Muang before returning to the pier at Samui.
