Abisko is a village in northern Sweden and a popular place to see the Northern Lights. Abisko is the place with the least light pollution in the world, so you have the opportunity to see the northern lights 80% of the time. It is also close to the Norwegian border, so you can visit Norway as well. Usually the plane or train to Abisko will stop in Kiruna, so we will visit them together. The snow activities in Abisko and Kiruna are quite similar, but many reviews say that the snow activities in Kiruna are more exciting. It was on a cold winter morning, and snow was piling up outside, creating a true arctic atmosphere. Inside, a small café offered breakfast for travellers needing a warm start. The boarding hall was compact but bustling with people. Despite the crowd, the boarding process was impressively smooth and fast.
