Turkey's Antalya, the Rock Tombs of Amyntas
Turkey is a great destination to visit in the fall. You can experience three seasons—summer, autumn, and winter—all in one trip.
The Rock Tombs of Amyntas are remnants of the ancient Lycian civilization, located near Antalya! These massive tombs carved into the cliffs overlooking the sea are truly awe-inspiring. Up close, the intricate carvings and sheer scale leave you in amazement.
Below the cliffs where the rock tombs are situated, you can hear the gentle sound of waves, creating a unique harmony between the weight of history and the beauty of nature. When you take photos, the cliffs, sea, and tombs come together to create a breathtaking scene!
One downside is that access can be a bit challenging, and on hot days, the strong sunlight can make walking for long periods difficult. However, visiting during quieter times allows you to explore at your own pace and enjoy both the history and the scenery.
The Rock Tombs of Amyntas are a must-visit spot on any trip to Antalya. The blend of ancient civilization and Turkey's natural beauty offers a unique and unforgettable travel experience!

Amintas Rock Tomb, a restaurant with a view of Fethiye at a glance
#ThailandFlightEvent #TurkiyeTravel #Fethiye #ViewRestaurant
Amintas Rock Tomb is a place where you can see the entire town from the Fethiye Port at a glance. It is close enough to walk from the Old City Center in 10-20 minutes. The entrance fee is 3 euros. Please note that only cash is accepted~ I went to see the sunset in the evening and was able to re-enter the next morning. Enjoy both the day and night views.

🏛 Ancient memories carved into the rock, Amyntas Rock Tomb
#EuropeanTravel
The Amyntas Rock Tombs, located on the hill of Fethiye, are ancient tombs built during the Lycian period around the 4th century BC. This tomb, carved along the cliff, has an inscription that reads, ‘Tomb of Amintas, son of Herparnias.’ In particular, the pillars and elaborate carvings reminiscent of ancient Greek temples are impressive. You can walk from downtown Fethiye, and the panorama of the city and the sea as you climb the hill is truly beautiful. Feel the breath of ancient times in this place where history and nature come together. Personally, I recommend the surrounding alleys because they are
really pretty and great for taking pictures!

Türkiye Travel Notes Fethiye city center super comfortable hotel with washing machine
In Fethiye we found a hotel called Ozgur City Resisence. It was in the city center and the reviews were pretty good. We rented a Deluxe Apartment for 75 euros for two nights.
There are cooking utensils and a washing machine inside. For those of us who had never done laundry in the previous two cities, it was a paradise! The room has two beds and a terrace, and the living room has a sofa and benches, but there are no bath products and no toothpaste or toothbrushes. However, the overall experience is good, and the hotel owner is very helpful and also assisted us with book paragliding!
