Caddo Lake State Park。
Caddo Lake is a natural lake at the junction of Texas and Louisiana. We hiked and canoe in the woods of Caddo Lake Park. The three of us took turns paddling for four and a half hours, and we were really exhausted. I went a little late, I should have gone in early November.
Figure 1-5 is the cabin Deer Trail Lodge (Figure 4) found on Airbnb, located in a sparsely populated area outside the town of Jefferson. The external environment is very good, and the rating on Airbnb is quite high, but there are fatal problems. The hot water has a smell. The attic is very short and you can only kneel on it. The two tatami single mattresses are very soft and the bedding looks ugly. Not tidy, there are socks left by previous guests... Highly not recommended! I could only sleep with my clothes on for a short while [Cry] The photo was taken in the morning, and the sun was shining all over the scenery around the cabin... The temperature was close to 0°C, and the water in the distance was filled with mist and fairy spirit. Dinner was at McGarity's Restaurant and Saloon in the small town of Jefferson. The food was good and delicious. When I arrived, I found out that he also had a B&B.
The wooden house is half an hour away from the park. The park opens at 8:15, and we arrived at 8:30. Picture 6 is the park service center. We wanted to rent a canoe, but we were told that it would be cold. It was recommended after 10 o'clock, so we found a way to hike I took a walk on the route (Picture 7-9); I rented a canoe at 10:30 and turned on the self-abuse mode [Yeah] to enter the cypress forest, you need to cross a long river first, with homes on one side (Picture 14) and woods on the other... cypress forest It’s very big, and the most psychedelic thing is that the trees are covered with Spanish moss, which is dreamlike and very beautiful. I also saw the great blue heron for the first time (Picture 19-20). It is said that there is a crocodile or something, but I didn’t see it👀
