Ito Beach is located in Ito, a famous hot spring resort town on the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula. It is easily accessible from Tokyo by train, and it offers a variety of attractions and activities for visitors. I stayed at K's House Ito Onsen, a historic ryokan hostel that has communal and private hot spring baths. The hostel was very cozy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed soaking in the hot springs and relaxing in the lounge areas. Another thing that I loved about Ito Beach was the food. There are many restaurants and cafes that serve delicious local cuisine, such as seafood, noodles, and sweets. I especially liked the sashimi donburi, a rice bowl topped with fresh raw fish. It was very fresh and flavorful, and it came with miso soup and pickles. I also tried some of the specialty desserts, such as orange soft serve ice cream and orange chiffon cake. They were very refreshing and sweet, and they used local oranges from the area. Ito Beach is a great place to visit for anyone who loves nature, hot springs, and food. It has something for everyone, and it is not too crowded or touristy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Japan.

Remember this name The Black Ship train 🛳 🖤🚉 Is a special train that runs in the Itō line in Japan and it has seats facing the sea shore, the view is expectscular and people take this trip to go around the Itō line From Atami all the way down to Izu This area has a lot of Onsen public and private ones, beautiful hikes, a death volcano, a Rocky mountain by the sea, black sand beaches, some famous restaurants and even a Don Quijote Mega at Itō. I stayed here during my two weeks trip in November, less than ten minutes walking from Itō station, the place is super clean, great price plus the Onsen is included, you're staying literally on the most important building in the city and is so beautifully designed. K's House Ito Onsen is by far the best staycation I've ever had. It is a century-old Ryokan located in Ito City in the Izu Peninsula, Shizuoka. It is very traditional that I felt like I time-traveled back to the 1890s. They also have a state-of-the-art Onsen facility. They have the best view of the river and the pine trees by their terraces sends you a very relaxing feeling in the morning. Totally a recommended stay! #staycation#tripinspired#happynewyear

The appearance of Mount Omuro is like an upside-down bowl. Standing at the foot of the mountain, looking up at the volcano, you can feel its majesty. As the cable car slowly climbs up, the surrounding scenery becomes more and more magnificent. When you reach the top, you will see a stunning panoramic picture in front of you. There is a specific trail on the top of the mountain. The journey takes about half an hour, but the scenery along the way makes people linger for a long time without realizing it. I started my journey from the 'Izu-Kogen' station on the Izu Kyuko Line, took the Izu Tokai Bus for about 20 minutes to the 'Cactus Park,' and then walked a short distance to the entrance of Mount Omuro. After staying at Asaba, I stayed at Zagyosoh. The experience was quite different. Both are hot spring hotels, but with very different styles. Asaba highlights traditional Japanese culture. It's hard to imagine that a hotel with a 500-year history can blend so well with modern simplicity. It's spotlessly clean, with an old-money vibe. It's perfect for walking barefoot in pajamas on the tatami mats. The air is full of relaxation. The private baths switch between men and women every few hours, and the guests are international. I like Zagyosoh's location the most. It's located in the dense highland forest of the Ito Peninsula, surrounded by ancient mountain peach trees and vegetation. Between the mountains and the sea, the pulse of life comes to you in the sound of the waves and the wind. At first, Zagyosoh feels like an old resort. It's big, with many rooms and facilities (even mahjong), but it's a bit old. Since there aren't many guests, many facilities are closed (mahjong is closed). On the same day, a Taiwanese senior tour group checked in. The guests at the next table at dinner and breakfast were all Chinese, probably all coming because of Jack Ma. The private bath is small, but the facilities are good. Unfortunately, there were leaves in the bath, which affected the experience. There aren't many staff. The receptionist and the restaurant server were the same cute girl. She served at least two tables at dinner, and the dishes were served a bit hastily. The food was so-so, but the menu was in Chinese.

I took a birthday vacation in September and decided to spend two days in Izu to see the mountains and the sea. 🍵 From the Omuroyama, the filming location of "Your Name," to the shimmering blue-green rocky coast, to the various open-air hot springs with sea views, Izu is the perfect place to relax and unwind! 📍Two-day itinerary & guide Day 1️⃣ Morning: Tokyo - Izu-Atagawa Station Afternoon: Jogasaki Coast Transportation: Navigate to "Izu Oceanic Park." Take the train from Atagawa for 3 stops to "Jogasaki Coast Station," a small unmanned station. Swipe your Suica card to exit the station. There are signs for "Kadowaki Suspension Bridge" and "Izu Oceanic Park" at the entrance. Just follow the signs, no need to navigate. 🏠 You will pass through a Japanese-style villa area with many beautiful small houses. 📸 The best spot to take a panoramic photo of the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge is the observation deck to the north. Day 2️⃣ Morning: Hotel - Komuroyama Afternoon: Return to Tokyo ⚠️ I originally planned to visit Omuroyama! But when I went, the cable car was closed due to lightning the day before! The hotel doesn't have private baths, but there are indoor and outdoor public baths on the top floor, which are clean and comfortable.
