#Spring0yentrip Motozenkoji Temple has a quiet and calm atmosphere different from Zenkoji Temple in Nagano. It is located a little away from the town of Iida, and if you walk leisurely, you will find the temple grounds surrounded by trees. You will be greeted by a magnificent mountain gate and main hall, and there are many monuments and signs in the temple grounds indicating the connection to Zenkoji Temple, making it clear that this is "another Zenkoji Temple". When I went up to the main hall and put my hands together, I was impressed by the atmosphere, which was different from the one I felt at Zenkoji Temple in Nagano, as it was a simple and friendly place of prayer. Rather than a tourist spot, the atmosphere was comfortable as a place of faith cherished by the locals, and I was able to spend my time leisurely. I felt like I understood a little bit more about why people say "If you go to Zenkoji Temple, please visit Motozenkoji Temple as well."

This ramen shop is popular among locals in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture!! The soup for the Chinese noodles was golden and clear, and although I thought it might be a little thin, the flavor of the dashi was rich and very delicious🍜 The noodles were medium-thick, flat, straight, and soft. The yakisoba noodles had the same noodles as the Chinese noodles, but the texture was completely different!! Tenryukyo is a gorge that stretches about 2km from north to south, created by the erosion of the Tenryu River. It is a majestic place famous for its hot springs, colorful autumn leaves, and river rafting!! Sangitei Honkan is a ryokan located on a hill in Lida, Nagano, Japan. This hotel used to be an old Showa-era castle building, but has now been converted into a hotel. It is still in good condition and is famous for its beautiful onsen (hot springs). The hotel consists of ryokan and European-style rooms, a hall, a restaurant, indoor and outdoor hot springs, and a bar for guests to use. Room rates start at 14,600 yen (excluding breakfast). Breakfast is included, and the price varies depending on the set meal you choose. Check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 10:00. We stayed in a ryokan room for 1 night. The room has futons (Japanese-style mattresses), yukata to change into and take a shower, tea set + snacks, and a private bathroom. However, once we arrived here, we had to try the famous hot springs. The hot springs here are separated into men's and women's areas. Guests who are not staying at the hotel can also use the services for a fee per visit. Before soaking in the onsen, you must cleanse your body first. The bathroom has free soap and shampoo, and a sauna. We went to the outdoor onsen, which is said to be the highlight of this hotel, and we were not disappointed. Soaking in the warm onsen and enjoying the view was really great. We went in the morning, and there were no other guests, so we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful view.
