Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerod is worth a trip from Copenhagen.
It is beautifully situated on three small islets in the Castle Lake in Hillerød. Within the castle’s walls there are major cultural attractions for the whole family, while the highly picturesque setting is perfect for peaceful walks in the gardens and boat trips.
Frederiksborg Castle was built by King Christian IV in the early decades of the 17th century and is the largest Renaissance complex in the Nordic region.

[Denmark] Definitely worth seeing! Frederiksborg Castle, a beautiful and captivating castle
I took a train from Copenhagen, Denmark
For some reason the train stopped on the way and I had to change to a bus
(I was so worried because I had no idea what was going on. lol)
Finally I arrived at Frederiksborg Castle✨
It was a castle as beautiful as a museum
It was so beautiful that I could look at it from the pillars to the paintings on the ceiling.
The chapel(?) inside the castle was the most beautiful chapel I have ever seen! I felt that it was so beautiful 🥹
It is a little far from Copenhagen, but I personally think it is worth going!

Frederiksborg Castle is one of the most famous castles in Denmark and for good reason: situated on three islands surrounded by a lake and beautiful gardens, it's simply breathtaking. Home to the Museum of National History, the grounds are full of rich history, architecture, and gardens. Frederiksborg Castle was built in the early decades of the 17th century by King Christian IV. It is the largest Renaissance castle in Scandinavia, and it incorporates the very best of Renaissance architecture and craftsmanship.

Frederiksborg Castle (National Museum of Denmark)
Coming to Denmark 🇩🇰, you must first go to the museum. Although the appearance is general, the interior decoration can compete with the Schönbrunn Palace in Austria. The back garden can also see the shadow of the French garden. But the interior decoration of its church surprised me. The cross-shaped dome display is matched with Gothic decoration, which is very gorgeous. The oil painting is Andersen, and his crash, he has been sending him a good person card (brother card) for a lifetime. There is also a super beautiful princess, her father is the prime minister, and her mother is the queen... Yes, the father is not the king... The royal families of all countries are really famous...

Beautiful castle on the lake
Frederiksborg Castle is located in Hillerød, which is relatively close to Copenhagen and easy to get to by train.
It is a beautiful castle standing on the lakeside, and inside it is a museum. The interior decoration is elaborate and luxurious, and worth seeing.
The ceiling decoration is particularly magnificent.
It also has historical exhibits, so it is a recommended castle.
We didn't have much time to see, but there is a garden, so I think it would be good to enjoy the garden as well.
You can also walk around the lake and enjoy the castle reflected in the lake from various angles.
